My wife Maggi and I stopped in for Maggi's birthday gift. We were here last year and watched the glass blowing demonstration and after we returned home to Kansas City we continued to think about how amazing the artists are at making such beautiful art. This year we wanted to pick a gift for Maggi. We found the perfect piece until we realized it would be all alone so naturally we had to have a companion. We Love This Place
My partner and I took the pumpkin making workshop and had a great time. It was more hands on than I expected which is awesome. Matt was there to guide us and keep us safe all while making sure we'd end up with a pumpkin we'd love. The attached shop is also beautiful and worth a visit. There are many things to choose from all handmade by local artists.
We called ahead to arrange for a piece to be made for our son and daughter in law's wedding gift. We were able to watch Tim build the bowl right before our eyes! We made a video of the entire process and included that with the gift itself. Very lovely bowl. Michelle was also very helpful with arranging shipment to NJ.
My dad and I attended the glass blowing flower making and had a great time with Matthew. He was knowledgeable and informative and it was such a fun time. We can’t wait to see the finished product. Watching the glass blowing demonstration is fun but I highly recommend taking the class and making your own!
After exploring the stunning Chihuly Museum, we headed to the glassblowing demonstration — and it was absolutely captivating! Watching the artists shape molten glass right before our eyes was mesmerizing. They walk you through each step of the process, making it both fascinating and easy to follow. Just a heads-up: it gets pretty toasty near the furnaces, so dress light and don’t forget to bring some water!
