I like the product itself, and the foreman did what he could. Unfortunately, everything else about dealing with this company was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had.

In my experience, the customer service and internal communication were extremely poor. The windows took a long time to arrive, which I understand can happen. However, when I politely texted the owner about the contract timeline, the response came across as dismissive and unprofessional. As a Naples business owner myself, I would never communicate with a paying client that way — especially one who had paid approximately $70,000 in cash for windows, sliders, and front doors.

Roughly 3–4 months later, installation began. While most of the work went smoothly, two decorative windows that were not supposed to be touched were removed in error, and we later discovered the third front window had not been ordered with the others, causing additional delays. Although the small windows were eventually replaced, it was presented as though they were doing us a favor a few times. The inspection initially failed due to a broken internal window component that was not discovered until the inspector flagged it — resulting in several more weeks of waiting for parts. When we called for an update, Nadine could not clearly confirm what was on order or provide a timeline. After that call, I received a rude email from Chris that focused more on defending prior issues than resolving the remaining work. After the inspection passed, we were told the team would return to install the window caps (which sat on my floor for about three months) and reinstall our custom round blind. We agreed on a date and the person later arrived while multiple contractors were actively working on our property but left after one knock and a call to the wrong number. We were later told there were concerns about entering the work area and was rudely reminded of their 42-mile drive, despite the project having been accepted and paid in full months earlier. No one cared about the 42 mile drive when I paid cash for the whole thing per their payment dates on time. They did eventually return to install the caps today, but our large custom curved wood blind was not reinstalled as originally found, and window stickers were not removed or cleaned as previously promised weeks ago by the foreman, but then were inforned by Nadine "we can take our own stickers off". LOL 🫤The blind was left on the floor this morning and of course they left.

Bottom line: the product quality appears good, and the foreman worked hard covering for everyone else under the circumstances. However, based on our experience, the customer service, communication, and project follow-through were substandard. The full process took about six months from start to finish, not including the initial 2 month wait for the windows. I can recommend the product, but not this company and won't. I can't wait for the equally crappy defensive response here, as that is all we got the whole time...defensive and I see that is how they've answered other reviews. So unprofessional.

UPDATE 03-01-2026: Here are the images of what your team left for us, the customer, to now fix ourselves. Thanks for the AI response below but I've yet to hear fron anyone there who "wants to make it right" Furthermore, you need to come fix the plaster around the 2 windows that your team mistakenly removed and then left us this sloppy patch job to now pay someone else to patch correctly. And thanks for leaving the 45 pound solid wood custom curved blind that you ununstalled to put in the window and now is left on our floor for us to do what??? Your team promised to leave everything the way you found it!

I am writing to share the great experience and wonderful product Affordable Window Systems delivered on. The new sliders are truly beautiful and we love them. The entire team we dealt with made everything SEAMLESS, and were all so accommodating to ensure we were completely satisfied throughout, and of course with the final product. Even when one of the slider windows had a manufacturer flaw from the factory, THE OWNER (Peter) took my email and assured me that the company stood by it and would make it right. He did just that, within a month even — We are so happy we chose this company for this job! They lived up to all my expectations (and I am so picky). It was expensive no doubt (due to being impact sliders), but they truly delivered on every scale!

There’s not many companies out there in Florida who deliver on what they say they’re going to do to the very end. Simply put, they want your money but don't deliver. (Furthermore, stand by the product and their work!)

I can say this to anyone doing their homework, from sales to scheduling, to measuring, to manufacture, to installation to closeout, …….AFFORDABLE WINDOW SYSTEMS DELIVERED!

The employees professionalism and kindness throughout, was top notch and they always showed up on time. We are completely satisfied and amazed at our beautiful new 7 impact slider door panels.

After my husband made the phone call for window replacement, Peter Merhige, the owner, was here pronto. He was personable and explicit that truly made us feel comfortable, we hit it off! This company was referred to us, now I understand why my friends used them for two of their homes. Two of their representatives came here yesterday for measurements, everything went well. This is an Awesome company to work with. I purchased windows 10 years ago with them at a very reasonable price and anytime I had any issue they were right out to make all right. Their work crew were friendly and polite and made sure all was clean before leaving , work done in 1 day. So when wishing for new French doors I choose to use them again. I highly recommend them if you are looking for impact windows or doors.
