US Discount Shutters

This is my first—and hopefully my last—review of any company. I don’t usually share information online, but I feel obligated to warn others about our experience. The service is extremely disappointing.

From the start, we encountered a complete lack of respect and responsibility. Deadlines were ignored, communication was poor, and every time we called, we were met with an irreverent attitude.

The contract was signed and paid in full on July 8, 2025. The company had two weeks to return and verify measurements, but instead we waited over a month and had to make several phone calls before they finally came. After that, installation was supposed to be completed within two weeks. Another month passed with no updates—no calls, no messages, no explanation.

When we contacted them again, the same person who always answers the phone acted “surprised” that nothing had been done, promised to speak with the manager, and later gave us a new date. This cycle repeated multiple times: each time they claimed shock, each time they promised a new deadline, and each time they failed to deliver.

By November, after several missed dates, I requested a refund. Instead of honoring that, they gave us yet another promise: installation between November 21 and 23. Today is November 23, and once again, no one showed up.

This company has proven to be unreliable and unprofessional. They repeatedly fail to meet their responsibilities and show clear disrespect toward customers. My recommendation: do not use their services unless you are prepared to go through the same frustrating experience we did.

Be careful with this company. I placed my down payment and it took them 10 months to finally have them install. I would literally not hear from them for weeks at a time. There’s always an excuse.
Even after final install, they never completely gave me all the parts (accordion shutter hold down clips) which they kept telling me they would be in touch to deliver.

For the past several months, I have been calling them to bring up a concern about a shutter that is falling apart. They answer and tell me I will receive a call back. Guess what, no-one calls me back. This has been going on for several months.
This is definitely a shady company with sub par quality products.

They are DISHONEST. This company has had my money since June and we are in October and still no installation. I struggled to get an installation date set up and when it was finally set, no one showed up or followed up. I’ve had to follow up with them for everything from the beginning and it has been a complete headache dealing with them!!!! It’s been 2 weeks since I requested a refund and they have stopped taking my calls.

They stole $8,000 from for 21 shutters ordered. Lie after lie after lie it will ship thisbday that day this week next week for almost 2 months. I have asked for refund and nothing for weeks. I disputed the charge with my bank and still waiting for an outcome. I am so stressed over this. Buyer please stay away.

I'm so happy with the great job done from US Discount Shutters to my windows.. I got the best price and the service was excellent. The job was done on the expected time. Highly recommended to anyone looking to install storm windows shutter.
