Recently put on new shutters in my townhouse that has four sliders. The guys came and installed all for sliders in around two hours. I'm so glad I do not have to worry about having anyone to help me with the upstairs sliders with the old panels. I would definitely recommend

I comparison shopped diligently because shutters are expensive. Storm Depot had by far the fairest estimate. Some companies charge extra for small apartment jobs or won't even do them. And after more than a year, I discovered a small problem. I was surely past all warranties and guarantees, but they came out the morning after I emailed with them, they fixed it right away, they fixed it for free, they showed me the easiest ways to handle the shutters, and they were wholly pleasant and professional though I was bothering them after all this time. I'm so glad I found Storm Depot!
They're a family business and very busy. I think their plan may be to return message calls rather than answer each call. And when your place in line comes up, you hear from them. Maybe they don't call you until they have info or an appointment available for you. They're busy so they have to be efficient.
I cannot speak as to this company's price or quality of products. However, I have two reasons why I have crossed Storm Depot off my list. The first reason is that they were a no-show for the estimate appointment that I had scheduled with them today between 12 and 1 pm. I waited until after 1 pm before I tried calling them 3 times total, and got no answer. I thought maybe I could at least find out why they had not shown up or if they were experiencing some kind of emergency that prevented them from coming. But they still should have called me in that case, not the other way around. That brings me to my second reason why I would not do business with them. They rarely answer the phone. I originally called them last week and got no answer. I happened to get someone on the phone on Monday who had to call me back to make an appt. She did call me right back, and we scheduled for today, 2/19/20 12 to 1 pm. As I said above, unfortunately no one called to cancel or delay, and no one showed up. Very unprofessional. I am disappointed because they have good reviews for the most part.
Storm Depot supplied the Hurricane Shutters and installed them on my home. But getting them out to finish the job has been a nightmare. I called many times and finally went to their office twice regarding my issues. They promised to be out in two days to finish the installation, but never showed. The building permit they pulled for the installation is 10 months old and is still open. I would be very cautious about having this company provide shutters for your house, unless you have a lot of time and patience trying to get them to come back out and to fix anything they left out during the installation.
Happy I called. Easy process. Called, had someone come out and measure and within 3 weeks, my shutters are up. The crew was professional and polite and got the job done then cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely recommend.
