Solar Energy Lab is a lifesaver!

A week before my closing, I was informed that I needed an inspection on the solar panels installed on my home. Panic set in, but Solar Energy Lab saved me from a ton of headaches. They came out the very next day, quickly made a necessary repair, provided a detailed inspection report, and even wrote a letter for the buyers. Thanks to their efficiency, I was able to close on my home without any issues that following Friday.

The customer service and professionalism were top-notch. Ashley, in particular, was amazing from start to finish. Her kindness, sincerity, and dedication to helping me and my realtor navigate this process were unforgettable. There’s no doubt that Solar Energy Lab goes above and beyond for their customers in Jacksonville.

I’m forever grateful for their help on such short notice. If you need a reliable solar company, look no further!

Sincerely,
R. Davis

After 3 years and 3 different companies. I finally got my solar system working, thanks to Ashley and Joe. They helped us to the end. It had been a very difficult experience but they made it work with persistence and great costumer services. Thanks for everything.

Took close to 2 years to finish the project. Owner of company also promised me a refund of $5,000 dollars for a dispute from the project, but after the project was completed, he never followed up on this refund. Very shady. Not to be trusted company. On a daily basis has no idea what's going on while your project is in progress. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Also the solar panels have under produced the past 1.5 years from what they quoted in their proposal.

DayBreak Solar installed my Solar System incorrectly. They used the wrong gauge wiring and it eventually blew up and burned out. They left town and went bankrupt... This was heartbreaking and scary. I didnt have any recourse and just spent a fortune on this solar experiment. Luckily for me, I found Solar Energy Labs. Ashley and John diagnosed the issue and were able to get me back up and running in a reasonable amount of time and money. They are true professionals that don't take shortcuts and do it the right way. Highly Recommended.

After about 2 months getting my bill from Clay County, and countless web searches later, I can make this review without being scathingly mad. The overall panels are very high quality, so it's not about the solar panels itself that I'm reviewing. The company was okay overall, some communication issues but otherwise, in that regard they where fine.
My real issue is that they did not tell us that Clay had changed their metering policy as of 05/22, and this made a huge difference on the bill I get from Clay every month. To be honest, they should have disclosed this, but the salesman really did the most to try to dissuade us from calling Clay before deciding on it. Ultimately it's on us, because we still should have tried to call and figure out what was going on, but telling us that Clay Electric tries to be coy or avoids talking to people did not help us at all and for that I am upset.
Therein lies the main problem. Their sale tactics are still shady(all solar companies, not just Solar Enegery), so just be aware that if you live in Clay, you will still have a marginal bill. We are roughly paying about $220 a month for the panels and now an $80ish a month bill from Clay. Please do extensive research on your area and net metering, at the end of the day, most solar companies are just exactly like car dealerships. They want you to buy a product, so you can also "purchase" a loan and that is the main reason they are rather shady.
If you live in Clay, PLEASE look up the policy and talk to someone, because I won't put the full blame on Solar Labs, Clay Electric is a terrible company and I would much rather FPL come in and take over the electrical needs of Clay County.
