When I purchased my home back in1991, we made sure to protect it by installing roll away shutters on all the windows. It was the best investment we ever made. In all these years, I remember only one occasion when I had to call for maintenance on one of the windows. They never lost their color, functioned beautifully without any change in their sound.
I even believe they held back some of the water during helene storm that came into the house.
Thank you, :roll a way " for all these years of service.
Thank you.

A family run business with exceptional Customer Service! Knowledgeable, professional, hard working. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again, and highly recommend. Thank You, Margaret, for keeping us informed of the schedule and diligently getting us on it asap!! (I'm sure they would've much rather work on a new install, rather than a tear down!) And Thank You!!! to Anthony and his Grandson who came out, dismantled our ancient, broken beyond repair, not even theirs, double front door electric Hurricane Door, as requested. You guys were great! Also, it's nice to see a polite, late teen/early twenty yr old who knows Hurricane Doors and obviously likes to work with his Grandfather
Roll-a-Way is what every vendor should be: customer-focused, responsive and highly professional. Andre, Margaret, and the entire team at Roll-a-Way put service first, treating the customer with respect and dignity. This is the 2nd time we've used Roll-a-Way for hurricane shutter installation and each time, we were 100% satisfied and highly impressed. We've happily referred Roll-a-Way to friends and neighbors. This is a company that delivers what is promised when it's promised, communicates frequently and openly,. and has twice now exceeded our expectations in every respect. Thank you for a job very well done.
If you want a professional job...DON'T use this company!!! I am 75 and lived in and refurbished and sold many many homes.
Roll a way is the most unprofessional and sloppy work I have ever had!
From the wrong size to unsafe work practice...they came back to fix things....I finally told them to leave, things were not going well.
I will fix the problem myself. But my shutters will always be the wrong size, and will be in the wrong place. 😓
Absolutely disappointed of the poor quality of their motors!!! I got 3 motorized shutters in my house installed by Roll-a-Way (the rest are manually operated). The motors of two of them went bad. The first motor was replaced in November 2016 and I paid $608. I've been trying not to use that shutter too much in order to save the motor. Thank God, it's still working! The motor of the other shutter was replaced in 2012 and I paid $564. It went bad 7 years later. The warranty is 5 years. Now I have to pay $700 dollars to have it replaced and roll the shutter up.
These shutters are good when working. If you want to spend 600-700 dollars (prices are up) every 5-7 years on each of your motorized shutters, this is the product!
Additionally, the lady on the phone tried to send over a crew of 2 people to change a single motor. That's a job for just one technician and she is supposed to know that! The rate of each technician is $75/hour, on top of the 100+ service call. When I wanted to know what would the second technician do while the other one was working on the motor, she said that he would be operating the shutter switch, lol. Both other motors were replaced by just one technician.
I will be moving to a new home and will be shopping for shutters, but definitely they are not going to be Roll-a-Way shutters, sorry!
