Totally reliable, honest and are experts. Very polite, punctual and responsive. Did a great job of over communicating and keeping me informed of their service appointment. Pedro Q, our service technician, was very polite and took the time to explain the basics with regard to my home generator. Their service technicians are well trained and extremely thorough. I have a service contract with Rack to service my Generac backup generator. My bedroom HVAC system is not working and with the record cold weather we have been having in West Palm Beach, our bedroomtemperature went down to 60 degrees last night which is difficult for my wife and I who are in our late 70s. When our HVAC technician came out yesterday, he told us the problem was a defective Generac transfer box which is covered by my service contract with Rack. When I called to make an appointment, I was told by Rack that could not service my unit for a week which seems completley unreasonable considering the current weather conditions. They then told me they could come out right away if I paid for an "emergency" visit which would cost $395. This is outrageous and a clear attempt to steal $395 from me when they should be servicing my transfer box at no charge. This "emergency visit" charge and then delayed service visit seems to me like a scam to extort $395 from us. This should not be allowed. Generac told me that Rack is the warranty service provider for their units in my area so I had no choice but to Rack. Generac should change service providers who are more reptuable then Rack. Their conduct really is outrageous. I would not use Rack if I had any other choice. I plan on communicating with Generac as well.
After years of being with rack(btw im not a property owner, but a manager) iv decided never again will I deal with rack for the following reasons.
1)Being hung up on as soon as I let them know im a manager for the property and not the owner.
2) Recently they've decided they want to have an Ai bot answering service. Constantly gets my information wrong. Constantly asks the same questions over and over again. THESE AI BOTS ARE THE WRONG MOVE RACK!!! your technicians hate it too. No longer do i have faith in rack during an emergency. We had one the other night and after dealing with the ai bots 4 times there was no help at all.
Had my home general generator maintenance completed. The service technician was on time, professional and serviced generator and completed power switch testing of complete system, and Documented details of service call. I have a semi annual service contract, and completely trust this company to maintain my system for all emergencies.
Wonderful experience! Great customer service, the job was completed within the expected timeframe, passed all inspections. Would do it all over again. I definitely recommend 1 Stop Generator Shop.
