Over the past 30+ years, we have sold numerous homes throughout the Sarasota, Florida area, and properties featuring PGT windows and doors consistently stand apart in terms of perceived quality, buyer confidence, and overall market value. PGT’s reputation for performance, design, and durability is immediately recognized in higher-end homes. Most recently, we entrusted Mullet’s Aluminum with replacing all of the windows and doors in our personal residence using hurricane-protected products by PGT Innovations. The result was exceptional. The installation was executed with precision, the attention to detail was impeccable, and the finished product significantly elevated both the aesthetics and the structural integrity of our home. From consultation to completion, the process was seamless, professional, and clearly handled by a team that takes pride in delivering premium results. Based on decades of real estate experience and our own personal investment, we confidently recommend Mullet’s Aluminum and PGT Innovations to anyone seeking top-tier windows and doors that combine refined design, coastal resilience, and long-term value.

Horrible warranty service from a business who’s been servicing our industry for many years. We purchased a resale home with PGT manufactured impact resistance glass throughout the home. We noticed immediately that one of the front windows had a bad seal. The window is completely fogged! I reached out to PGT for some assistance in hopes that they would stand behind their product. Instead they told me they would not be able to replace the window since we were not the original homeowner! What difference does this make, really? The home is just a few years old and this happened through no fault of us or the previous owner. Had the previous owner reached out prior to selling, they would have had to cover this under warranty. Why would you not back your product and keep the consumer happy, especially with the amount of work and price you charge for your windows. Unhappy and disappointed with PGT customer care.

PGT Windows is a joke. After only 4 years, my window shattered. When I called, they wanted $375 just to inspect it—money that doesn’t even go toward the repair. Their rep even blamed it on “high heat.” You’re a Florida window company blaming the Florida sun? Ridiculous.

Even if it’s a defect, they only cover materials, while labor runs $150/hr with four people required—thousands out of pocket. Total scam. PGT does not stand behind their product. Buyers beware.

We purchased PGT INPACT WINDOWS & A HURRICANE RATED DOOR from our Naples Florida Window Contractor. After a few years we noticed the WEATHER STRIPPING on the HURRICANE DOOR was disintegrating badly!

We have been attempting UNSUCCESSFULLY to contact PGT WINDOWS FOR 1 1/2 years to assist in getting this WEATHER STRIP replaced. NO-ONE HAS RESPONDED. We paid thousands of dollars for the windows and door and the company cannot tell us who we can speak to in order to repair this piece of disintegrated weather strip!!

PGT HAS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Had we known we would have NEVER purchased PGT WINDOWS!!!

I had Weather Tite Windows (WTW) install PGT windows and sliders in my home. The windows are great. The sliders and PGT customer service not so much. After the installation I could see daylight under the sliders in different areas. It was explained that these were weep holes and needed to there. I understand this, but should I really be seeing daylight under the doors. Fuzzy stuff was put around these areas so I couldn’t see the light. After finding several lizards in my home, and doing some searching, I found gaps at the bottom between the doors! Gaps big enough for lizards, bugs, possibly mice to come through…and I was losing air through them!!! I had WTW come out several times regarding this issue. They put fuzzy stuff in these gaps, stating this was PGT’s approved method of taking care of these situations. (This is not a permanent fix.) I was told this sometimes happens with PGT products. Still not being happy, WTW referred my file to PGT.
So, an WTW employee and PGT employee came out. When they got here, they stood out in front of the house for a few minutes talking (feeling like they were getting their stories straight) and then came in. I explained my concerns and even showed the PGT guy pictures of the holes. Didn’t seem too interested. They both tried to explain that the weep holes needed to be there, which I explained that I understood that and didn’t care about those, that I was more concerned with the bigger holes at the bottom between the doors (that critters could come through and wind pressure could get in my home). They both tried to explain how the fuzzy stuff would keep critters and wind out, but that it was ok for hurricane pressure get into my house and that the pressure needed to be the same inside and out. (I’ve always heard the opposite.) The PGT guy seemed to have had his mind already made up and never looked to see where the holes were. He just stood there and looked at the doors and said that they looked like they were installed correctly and there was nothing that could be done and the fuzzy stuff was the best they could do. This employee seemed very uninterested.

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED in this product!!! I bought these sliders so I would be protected and not have to put the heavy metal shutters up during storms, but now all I have is impact sliders with fuzzy stuff in holes keeping critters and wind out of my home. I paid a lot of money for this product and just can’t tell you the level of disappointment! :(
