We had a hurricane shade put across our lanai and chose Jansen because they had originally installed our hurricane shutters. Paul the sales representative was professional and he explained things perfectly. The whole experience has been an extremely positive one from the staff in the office to the electricians and finally to the installation. We will use them again for anything from Shutters to windows. I called Jansen’s this morning because I had a shutter not closing properly. I have family visiting and want to keep my lanai warm during this cold snap. Kari was extremely pleasant and helpful and worked to get the technicians here today. They fixed the problem today. I am so grateful to Kari and the technicians. My accordion shutters on my windows look and perform great. The electronic shutter screens installed in my lanai work well for storm protection as well as a bit of sun protection during the winter. Their crew is talented and knowledgeable with a fun attitude.

Jansen Shutters installed hurricane screens around our covered lanai and outdoor kitchen area. Well worth it if you can afford the expense. They are so easy to operate and look great. When the weather is bad it will add an outdoor area for us to hang out in and be well protected. From beginning of this project thru the install, every person we met was very professional, personable and cleaned up during and after their work was done. I can honestly say I would recommend them. I recently went through contractor selection to install shutters on my house and chose Jansen Shutters & Specialties. It was a great decision for several reasons. They offered a competitive price, their installation team was very experienced and a pleasure to work with, and without a doubt — Ed Garcia was exceptional as he supported me through the sales cycle, HOA approval process, delivery and final inspection. Ed’s previous experience as an installer and his exceptional customer service skills made this a seamless delivery. I also want to highlight that their shutter solution on my pool lanai was a game changer — in a matter of minutes I can close the entire area spanning 4 large glass sliding doors and patio. It also has a very clever design with the channel holding the bottom of the shutter cut into the concrete. No one else had a solution like this. Other vendors had above ground brackets that I wasn’t interested in for various reasons as well as finding it less attractive looking. I’ve enclosed several pictures to highlight the shutters and, as a bonus, you get to see Ed as he was taking me through the walkthrough. I’d recommend you contact him to go through the various shutter options and highly recommend you consider them for the shutter installations. I’m a former Navy CEC Officer/Seabee and an engineer so was very detailed in the sales process and delivery — and Ed made be a believer that selecting Jansen Shutters & Specialties and working with Ed are absolutely the best decisions I’ve made for work I’ve contracted out on my properties!
