Pricing for top quality, custom-built, wood shutters was even better than other companies offering composite material. The craftsmanship is amazing and the custom options we selected did not increase our price. Delivery and installation were ahead of schedule - they were even respectful enough to take off their shoes.

Sam has completed three projects in my home over the past 7 years & everything has been perfect every time. Possibly even better is the quick response from Sam when, years after installing, one large plantation shutter did not fit after we had our windows replaced. I contacted Mastercraft via email & I received a quick response, as well as a call from Sam shortly after. This was the week of Thanksgiving & Sam came to my house within a few days & was able to modify the existing shutter to fit the new window ON THE SAME DAY! Trust me, Mastercraft shutters is the vendor you want to go with. I compared quotes from three other Blind & Shutter vendors who all gave excellent presentations. I replaced window treatments on 13 different sized windows and replaced all with 4 inch wide slat white wood shutters. Here is something you may not realize, hand crafted wood shutters are a permanent fixture (capital improvement) and you will not be charged sales tax. The other vendors charge you sales tax because their products are a mix of non-permanent (blinds) and non hand crafted shutters. So compare apples to apples. In my case, because I chose to put shutters on all my windows (not just the ones facing the street), I was able to negotiate what I considered a fair volume discount.

Love our wood shutters by Mastercraft! So happy to have found Sam and his family owned company. Sam was prompt and efficient from quote to installation. I wasn’t sure of the look of the different style shutters so Sam invited me to his home to see the differences which really helped to see them in a real house setting.
