I don't like writing reviews but this time I'm compelled to. When we could not get any info from Bill after four calls I threatened to cancel our order. Like other reviews I was told that the computer system was down. For three weeks? Please! Bill got very irritated with me and was short with me. Then Wallah! Our sofa shows up. When I went to pick up the sofa, to avoid a $175.00 delivery fee, he acted like he didn't even want to talk to me. Great customer service. The sofa is okay, not by any means top-of-the-line, but okay. We decided to finance just to help get our score up some since it dropped a little due to not being used. Synchrony bank sent a card and we cut it up since we didn't plan on using it any at all. Then the letter comes saying we need to go paperless to avoid a $1.99 monthly statement fee for mailed statements. So I go online to register to go paperless, but that can't be done without your card account number. After a million automated prompts I finally spoke with someone (which I don't think was in the U.S.) and was told they would send a new card.
Hank's and Synchrony both are on my list of "never again".

Store manager became hostile during a discussion about a purchase that we were trying to resolve issues with. They accused us of trying to return furniture that we ddamaged after receipt. He never told us he was seling us a floor model, he onky stated he was bringing in the piece from another store. The peice we recived was used and stained and damaged from being a floor model at the other store. He insisted we were not being truthful in our transaction and once we pushed backnhe kicked ua out of the store. We stayed yo write this review which abgered him and he called some security persons to forcedully extricate us out of the store. While he was on the phone with "security" he gave a response of "no, they are white". Picture displays what they think is quality. Good luck doing business with this place. There is no integrity practiced here.

Run. Don’t walk. I read reviews and filter out ppl I feel may be a bit over the top. I always make an attempt to help a business understand how they failed to meet my expectations which honestly is very rare. If I owned a business, I’d want to know poor feedback in order to correct it. Hank’s is poorly run overall. I had a disagreement with the store manager who is referenced in earlier Yelp & Google posts. Sadly, the posts are accurate from my experience. I called corporate giving them two biz days to return my call. No call. You can’t reach anyone by phone at corporate offices either was my experience. Speaks volumes to me overall. We went to Hank’s specifically to purchase Stressless recliners which are an investment. Customer service is not Hank’s focus. The sell is. I do not recommend Hank’s Fine Furniture. Most of the furniture is just a step above Rooms to Go or equal. Get everything in writing and read the fine print is my suggestion should you choose to shop here.

Bought several chairs from hanks and was pleased with the price and quality. Nathan was super helpful and made it a great buying experience. We will definitely be back to buy more from Hanks

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM HANKS FINE FURNITURE!!!! Check the Better Business Bureau (BBB) reviews too, educate yourself! Their logistics department does not know what they are doing, computer systems are unreliable and you won’t receive your furniture timely.
Ordered a couch on 11/30 told delivery was mid to end of Jan. System outage a Hanks for 3 weeks and no disaster recovery plan!!! My husband called 5x, can’t tell you anything, and they say they will call and they DO NOT! My husband also went to the store 2x, he did get a refund on the delivery fee, absurd! Shame on you hanks for not keeping your computer system secure! Finally, 2/20/2026 delivery shows up and keep in mind this was a sectional with a chaise on the end. Instead, Hanks sent two chase lounges and now we have to wait another week for the sleeper. This is unacceptable Mary Browne (CEO), what kind of business are you running? Your systems are back up and you personally have NOT reached out to the impacted customers or made a statement. It appears you are not taking accountability as a family owned business. Everyone says support your local business and this is the reason everyone now orders online. It’s very sad when I ordered another couch from a local competitor in Jan 2026 and it will be here 2/26. They even sent automated text message throughout the process and texted for delivery! Take note Mary Browne or you will be another storefront closing in the future if you don’t make big changes!
