Ace Hardware

Went to have my permanently mounted 25 gallon Manchester ASME propane tank refilled in my class A rv. Two separate employees told me they would not fill it as it didn't have a recertification sticker/plate on it. I informed the older gentleman that it did NOT need a recertification and didn't have an expiration date. He told me they most certainly do. They need to better train their people. A simple Google search would have proven me right. I will take my propane business elsewhere from now on

I’d like to recognize Ryu for providing excellent customer service during my visit. Even with the store being busy and a high workload, he remained polite, attentive, and eager to help. His manners and positive attitude made the experience smooth and welcoming, and he handled multiple tasks without ever rushing or overlooking customer needs. Ryu clearly has a strong work ethic and takes pride in assisting customers. He is a great asset to the store.

Talk about neighborly service! I needed 15 bags of brown mulch for my rose garden and Ace came through..with a graduated sale price based on amount purchased and free delivery! My garage is way off the road and the driveway is gravel, but the Ace delivery people John, Bradley, and Nicole were not hesitant in hand -carrying the bags of mulch to the garage. John even graciously picked up palm leaves as he made his way back to the truck. The staff is always very friendly and helpful in and out of the store.. Join their Rewards Program for coupons in the mail and look into the Handyman Service they offer. Definitely a place for the Helpful Hardware Men (and Women).

I have shopped at Sunshine Ace Hardware Kingsway since 2010. I really like that it's small but usually has what I need without buying a large quantity. It's usually easy to find someone to assist me if I can't find what I'm looking for and they have many times, gone beyond the call of duty. Example, I was asked " Can I help you find what you are looking for?" I said I need a squeegee The ACE Associate took me to back of the store that had a large display of squeegees. But, then she ask: "What do you plan to use it for?" I said to clean the glass enclosure in our shower. She immediately said, these squeegees are not what you want and requested that I follow her to an area that has an abundance of Bathroom "stuff" including squeegees specifically designed for your shower glass enclosures. And they came with a suction cup to hold the squeegee and they are a lot less expensive. Always great customer service and quality products at competitive prices. I rarely need to go to Home Depot or Lowe's, and if I do, there is no customer service unless you track them down. Last, but certainly not least, Craig Meeker, Store Manager for the past three years is a Customer Centric individual. I had a major situation, no fult of Sunshine ACE Hardware Kingsway, but Craig immediately helped me in less than three minutes. Home Depot or Loew's I would probably still be there going through all red tape and their corporate ladder. I totally agree, ACE IS THE BEST!! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! My go to Everything Store....

I hate to leave this review but I feel like it needs to be addressed to staff. Not once were we asked for help which I actually needed. After finding my supplies I then went to get paint which is right by the register. I stood there for almost 10 min making eye contact multiple times with cashier and whoever was help walk the floors made it apparent to dip down a corner everytime he made eye contact.
Better trained staff for busier Sundays is much needed here. Wasted a trip.
