They have high ratings for a reason- the experience has been easy from the beginning. To begin- my salesperson, Ken Moring, provided me a no-nonsense presentation and answered my questions. He has also provided me weekly updates, since I contracted, informing me where 'I am in the process' (there is permitting, planning, installation, etc.). I appreciate that he has not missed a week. Next, my solar panels were installed last week. The two installers, Allen (lead) and Dorian, were incredibly professional and focused on timely installation without losing quality and aesthetic importance. I have attached pictures- you will note, on one of them, that you see ZERO wires. There are no wires. Period. You can't see them. The solar panels were also perfectly aligned on my roof. Look at your neighbors solar panels- I can almost promise that you will see wires, poor mounting, crooked mounting, etc. Not with Excel solar, and NOT with Allen and Dorian. This has been a great experience, thus far, and I encourage anyone who is not pursuing solar because of the hassle involved…that hassle does not exist here.

We have been very happy with Excel Home Solar and the work they have done. We just got our meter swapped out today and are super excited to see the start of our own generation. From the start, Covey (our sales rep) was great. He was happy to educate us on the entire process and throughout the project, he always was quick to respond (even on weekends or nights which is going above and beyond). The installers that did the work were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. In a sea of choices, we would be quick to recommend Excel to any of our friends and family.

We had a great experience with Vista! Ryan Carson was our representative and he was very friendly and knowledgeable with getting us the right system for our home. The installation crew was on time and they got it all done in one day. My husband and I are very happy overall and are excited to be relieved from Teco.

I have my solar system from Excel for over 2 years now and I highly recommend them. We quoted with a dozen companies including some big names in the industry and Excel stood out for their attention to detail, ability to explain the nuances of owning a PV system, being very transparent throughout the process and providing a better product at a very competitive rate. The install crew was very professional and everything went like clockwork. Our consultant Covey Murray was very patient with us and answered all our questions. This is a local company that puts customers first. We had a small issue last year when some of the panels were not connected to the mains. The company immediately sent service personnel and rectified the issue at no charge to us. I have referred many of my friends and neighbors to Excel solar and everyone is a happy customer. Solar is a big investment and its best to go with a company that listens to you and customizes the system per your requirements instead of a pre-packaged list of components like the national companies sell, someone who can respond quickly when something breaks and someone who has been in the business for a long time and earned customers trust. Excel solar checks each of those boxes and I whole heartedly recommend them.

HORRIBLE customer service. We got solar from them years ago, then there was a recall on our LG battery. Excel came and took the battery, promised us the new one is coming and its been THREE YEARS. we still have not gotten our replacement battery. No one ever answers the phone or calls us back.
