Big shout out to Salesman Nick and manager Roy at the Old St Augustine location. When my mother first walked in when the salesman with curly hair literally told her that he didn’t have time to build a package because the he didn’t think would be able to get it. Little did he know we had roughly 20K to spend , And that is when Nick walked over and helped us and was super nice professional and friendly, but most of all a amazing impatient employee of the company. My mother told Nick what the other employee said, and he immediately apologized on his behalf for the company which should have never had to happen. Nick helped us build an amazing package with great pricing. Roy came in and helped quickly finalize the deal and was in and out with everything within 30 min tops signing everything loading and pulling out. Got new mower,trailer,edger,blower and trimmers.

See all on Google ↗I’m extremely disappointed with Tools for a Time, which is not something I ever thought I’d say. They’ve been a solid resource for my lawn care business for years, and I’ve consistently given them my business.
Over the past year, after upgrading several pieces of equipment, the experience has gone downhill fast. Staff have been inconsistent and often uninformed about warranties, have failed to honor or properly handle warranty claims, and turnaround times have been unacceptable. Equipment has come back late, not fixed correctly, or in worse condition than when it was dropped off.
“Well, you can bring it back,” is not acceptable when you rely on your equipment to make a living.
I’ve only purchased Shindaiwa and Echo products through them, so maybe the manufacturers share some responsibility, but customer service and accountability still matter.
I’m honestly shocked at how little regard has been shown to loyal, long-term customers. At this point, I can’t recommend Tools for a Time to other professionals who depend on reliable equipment and timely service.

They had everything I needed to tune up my Exmark 30-inch mower with a Kawasaki engine. The selection, both inside and out, was impressive, and the parts department was fully stocked with all the essentials.
If I could give them 10 stars I would and they deserve that and then some. I operate a landscaping company and they have helped me with everything from the tires on my trailer to the spark plugs in my blowers. These guys are in a league of their own. If I need to buy new equipment or have my existing equipment fixed they keep the same helpful attitude while finding a solution. Brendan, Roy, and their staff will not let you down. Do not waste your time with anyone else in this industry, these guys are the best.
