TNT POOLS

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to commend the amazing job Michael and the team at TNT Pool Remodeling did. My pool was built in 2003 and desperately needed a face-lift, the transformation is incredible.

They were prompt, reasonably priced, friendly, and polite, with excellent customer service throughout. There was an area (on the deck) where water used to pool when it rained, and Michael’s recommendation completely fixed the issue. He also suggested adding a design to the pool deck to work with existing and future cracks, allowing for stress relief so the cracks wouldn’t become noticeable over time. I was extremely nervous but very grateful I trusted his advice.

Michael’s sons and family members were always courteous, mindful of my property, and diligent about cleaning up. Special thanks to Kris, she was phenomenal with communication and color choices and also helping me through this process.

I chose TNT after researching Google and Yelp, and while I saw one or two less favorable reviews, my experience was the complete opposite. I hope this review helps someone that's on the fence make the same decision with confidence that I did.

Absolutely thrilled with the results! Mike and his team did an outstanding job resurfacing our pool as well as pool deck — the finish is flawless, the water sparkles like new, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. They were professional, punctual, and kept the work area clean every day. It’s rare to find such attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Highly recommend to anyone looking to bring their pool back to life!

TNT Pools just completed the renovation of our 22-year-old pool. Mike and his team did an amazing job! It looks fantastic!! Mike is an excellent communicator and has proficient knowledge of pools. Nick, Chris, and the rest of the team are so hard-working and know exactly what they are doing! It was so nice to see so many guys gathered together and working so well as a team!
Our pool turned out beautiful, and we are looking forward to using it for many years to come. A great BIG thank you to Mike and his team!! Also, Kris, In the office was extremely helpful during this process!

We couldn’t be happier with the work TNT Pools did resurfacing our pool. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. This is truly a family-oriented business — the owner, Mike, along with his sons and other family members were all hands-on, professional, and clearly take great pride in their work.

A team of about six came out to handle the job, and while Nick was the only one who wasn’t a family member, he fit right in and was especially polite, helpful, and great to work with. You can tell this is a tight-knit crew that works extremely well together.
The entire project was completed incredibly fast — just three days from draining the pool to having the resurfacing fully done — and the cost was very reasonable for the quality of work we received. They explained the entire process up front and kept us informed every step of the way, which we really appreciated.

My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the results. Our pool looks brand new, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TNT Pools to anyone in the Ocala area looking for honest, skilled, and reliable pool professionals.

I have pool plaster delamination - this has been the “cause” of the high calcium levels and scale all along apparently. Not something that is just now occurring - this has been since TNT resurfaced my pool only 1 year ago. We ruled out everything else over the past year and as Mike stated we had to do a chemical bath to remove the rock hard sharp scale that had formed which cost me hundreds of dollars, and yes the manufacturer claims it wasn’t their product. Yet I still have “TNT Blue” sand in the bottom of my pool, and in my electric pool cleaner. I need to clean my filter almost daily to wash out the “TNT Blue” powder that causes Flo errors otherwise. Why is the “fair” solution for ME to pay you 50% to re-do it right? You have yet to come by and verify this yourself despite saying you would numerous times over the past year. Come by at your convenience Mike, run your hand around the pool walls and feel the volcano-like bumps and blisters and stalactites for yourself - better yet put on goggles and literally see it for yourself. I have worked with management at Pinch a Penny, consulted with Jacks Magic and had 2 independent inspections of this pool. The bottom line is no one is 100% perfect 100% of the time, of course not! But that’s where warranting your work comes in. You did a beautiful job Mike, and it was a pleasure working with you and your team. But something went wrong during the application and passing that off on to the home owner to deal with and pay for is not my definition of making good with your customer, and that is where my dissatisfaction lies. This was a huge financial investment and should last for decades, not be delaminating within months.

Changed my opinion - Mike impressed me beyond belief until he didn’t follow up as promised with the problem my pool has. So disappointing, standing behind your work means as much as everything else.

What started as a “where’s the leak?” journey ended up with a complete update of the pool and deck and I couldn’t be happier! Mike and his crew are phenomenal and absolutely outdid themselves on this project. Never once felt like I was being pressured to do more than necessary … in fact Mike insisted on going above and beyond and dug down to check the pipes, pressure tested the skimmer, pulled the light, capped the jets, tried everything before moving forward with removing the tile and refinishing the surface of the pool. From start to finish we were done in a matter of a couple of weeks. In all they did the pool, installed umbrella holders, painted the deck, and installed my disability pool lift. Mike and crew also went over and above with critter control (dogs, spiders, toads, snakes, oh my!) and even put together my new solar cover reel before leaving. They put up with 2 curious dogs, record-setting heat, and working around contractors here at the same time. LOVE LOVE LOVE the new tile and excellent choice going with the TNT Blue for the surface - just WOW! Price was more than competitive, Mike knows his stuff, everyone was polite and cleaned up daily, and communication was amazing every step of the way. I highly recommend you consider TNT Pools for your next project, this was a (pleasantly surprising!) 100% positive experience from beginning to end.
