Tampa Bay Solar

Just had Tampa Bay Solar install solar on our home and garage. Very pleased with the entire experience, starting with the sales person Sharon Louis who came to our home and provided an overview of the entire process, including benefits of solar, price and financing options. Sharon was very professional, no high pressure, just straight talk and honesty. The office staff at Tampa Bay Solar have also been attentive and helpful. The crew that installed the solar on our home last week did an amazing job. Kudos to the team leader Fanez and his team of Daniel, Luis, Jose, Sanchez, Carlos and Alejandro. It took three days from start to finish. During this time the crew members were very polite and courteous and respectful of our home. When finished, Fanez went over everything involving the new system (it's pretty much automatic) and answered any questions I had. Before they left, they made arrangements with the City of St. Petersburg to inspect the installation the very next business day. System is fully operational now and looks great on our roof. So glad I went with Tampa Bay Solar, their price was fair and the workmanship is first class all the way. Highly recommend this business.

A special shout-out to Franez, the team lead, who made sure every step was explained clearly and that all my questions were answered. Stay far away from this company! From day 1 we have had nothing but problems - yes this goes back to 2020! They are no shows to appointments. If they do show up, repairs will drag out for months. We have been trying to get them to fix non-working panels since August 2025. It is now March 2026 and neither the panels, nor the pool heater pipes have been fixed. They did have the nerve to send an invoice though.

Update 03.09.26: According to their own employees and the person who initially hired them, Tampa Bay Solar did in fact install the system.
After we escalated the situation, we finally got a call from the technician (we had initially reach out to him personally December 2025). According to him, the panels showed as non-producing in the dashboard because their office didn't update the serial numbers of the installed optimizers. It was finally fixed, and the invoice was settled.

I had an incredible experience with the entire team at TBS. It started with a great meeting with Tim M explaining the options and educating me on Solar. During the process Tim was always available to answer questions and updated me on any changes. He is a great representative of the company and was the number one reason I went withTBS. This led to a great experience with Fanez (team lead) and his team on the installation. Fanez and his team were friendly, organized, and very respectful of my home. Fanez took the time to explain each step in the process with me. His expertise is apparent and he leads by example with his team. I have a high , elevated roof with expensive wood ceilings. Fanez knew the importance of ensuring the racking system was completed with care and accuracy and personally ensured it was done correctly. Thanks again to TBS!

My experience with Tampa Bay Solar was excellent! The process from purchase to installation went flawless. The entire team showed up every morning with a smile and stayed late to get the job done. The panels were meticulously and professionally placed on our roof and they even took the time to clean the skylights.
