Used to use this business since it was located at north end of Crestghanistan and their pricing was reasonable.

Boughten "my fair share" of irrigation materials from this business, both as a private citizen and as a business man myself.

Never had issues with the folks there, save perhaps the rude front desk employee that "shews" non-blue collared types out of the lobby if they don't "please" him somehow...

Go in there maybe about 2-3 months ago....to purchase a new backflow preventer (required by water co-ops, inspite of logic) and was told (literally) because the store had sold this sort of item to non-irrigation "experts" and had to "honor" the manufacturer's warranty when the individual incorrectly used the item and returned it....INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING THE "low-information" CUSTOMERS, who don't know what an arrow means...they decided to tell hardworking businessmen and homeowners and residents of this "Hub" city that only licensed plumbers can now buy some piece of equipment most of us don't even need, but are required to get one.

Wouldn't you know it...they figured out yet another way to dupe the public out of coin and services simultaneously.

Good job, Good ol boys!

Yet another blue collared, military hard working stiff TAKING his money elsewhere (big box stored instead of your company, which I was trying to support.)

Maybe run for government offices if you wish to do this to your patrons over.

I brought a blower motor in to see if it could be checked as a first thought that it may be burned out. The gentleman said that there's no way of checking the motor and immediately suggested that I take it somewhere else (Rytman Supply). The technician at Rytmans did a simple test with an amperage meter and the motor had a reading. It's not the motor, he said, it's most likely a bad capacitor. BINGO! $12 new replacement part = Done!

A $20 part marked up to $80, ouch 400 percent markup? And that is being generous. I understand overhead, but I could of let my shower drip until the $16 parts came in from Amazon. Then the sale person told the wife it was worn out ribs. Hey sales person, that was the adjuster to keep from getting scalded and had nothing to do with turning off. The reason the cartridge leaked was because of a torn rubber cup inside. Congratulations you just lost a customer..

Top notch. You can skip Lowes and Home Depot for ALL your electrical and plumbing needs at Souther Pipe & Supply. Prices are way better than the box stores too!
