Purchased a bag of potting soil from this business. Got home and opened the bag to find it was completely infested with soil gnats. They refused to give a refund because the bag had been opened, had to press them only to get a store credit. Bought a diff bag or soil, fast forward now each plant touched by that soil is infested with bugs. I’d recommend Central Hardware on Arthur Godfrey if you’re in the area looking for a hardware store.
Hellooo. I have been coming to this location since I live in normandy isles, sixteen years... I have bought light bulbs, screws, toilet parts, copied keys, cleaning stuff, exit sign, and much more.
Recently I came here to find a toilet paper holder that is not around any longer... One of the women recommended me to clean the old one with an specific product and guess what... Just look at the pictures...

I bought caulking to seal a door, the caulking was dried when i tried to use it. Took it back to return them and the “customer service” person was demeaning and questioned when i bought it and why did i wait 3 weeks to use it.
I didn’t open the 2nd caulking and she questioned why I’m returning that one too..
Then she said i needed the credit card i used, to reimburse. Sorta understandable bc they use a system from the 80’s..
i gave them 2 stars because when i returned w the crux i thought i used, a younger customer service person showed me that i could retrieved the cc number from the wallet when paying w Apple Pay
I go to this place only for emergencies and when i cannot go to a Home Depot or Lowe’s.. everything i purchased here costed more than any other hardware store.
