Scan Design

I ordered eight dining chairs and two matching counter stools.
I had a sales agent at the hundred and sixty third street store tell me as long as the items were not delivered, I could cancel my order up until that time.
On february 28, 2026,
I canceled my order.And I requested a refund.
The eight chairs I ordered were on back order.
And the two counters stools were shipped to their distribution center. Margaret the manager of the 163 Street store to me i would be charged a restock fee

I explained to her that the salesperson told me as long it was not shipped.They would be no problem canceling.

They give me a credit to a credit card. That is not where the payment was made.And she has not responded, I have filed a complaint with the state of florida FDACS and we'll also be filing a claim with the Florida Better Business Bureau and The Florida Consumer Affairs.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE KNOWN FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF CONDUMERS.

I am extremely disappointed

We ordered our furniture as we moved into our new house and were excited and we were assured white glove delivery

I guess when delivering to us they forgot the white gloves

Complete disaster from start to finish

They needed the money right away ( text after text) but now we don’t hear from the regional manager - I was told we are on her list to be called back

We bought a bedroom dresser and 2 bedside tables

The bedside tables the glass does not fit on both

The dresser the middle draws don’t open as the back feet are missing

We spoke to Angie in customer services and maybe she needs to rethink her job position she was disrespectful rude and unapologetic giving me ultimatums after we paid close to 8 k

Then our sales rep Drea and her manager Andrew in Boca were not punctual in responding always making excuses and they finally said we would get a call from the regional manager , that has yet to happen

How crazy turned a good experience into a dreadful one

Hopefully the owner will see this message and see how pathetic his staff have been

They offered a replacement in 2 weeks but can’t assure me that this won’t happen again

Terrible customer service. Bought 6, $300 chairs and all of them are completely falling apart after not even after 2 years. Spoke with Krista from corporate and she offered me 20% store credit and then never got back to me. Overall the experience with this store has been terrible and they don’t take responsibility for the lack of quality in their products. We also bought a teak dining table at the same time as the chairs and the leaf extension was stained, it took them almost 2 years and 3 tries to replace, we went through two store managers and same corporate contact person who really had sub par customer service and solutions.

Great store to find all source of modern pieces!
Great variety of designs.
Plenty of accessories too!

Yolanda was so lovely to work with. She was so kind, patient and helpful. She even took the time to personally come over and help assemble a table that I had purchased. Working with her and the whole Scan Design team was such a pleasure and I’ll definitely be making future purchases from them again. Thank you for everything Yolanda!
