Simply the best from start to finish!
Office staff is always responsive typically within minutes and had answers to all my questions (sorry Ann Marie and Cristina there was a lot :) but I was nervous and anxious about the process and they always put me at ease. Our building is mandating the units upgrade to impact windows after our building concrete restoration and I was tasked to take this project on, but S&R made it as easy as possible for me and I can’t express my gratitude enough.
Gary our project manager and sales person was super knowledgeable and helpful throughout and even 3 weeks after the job is completed he’s still right there when I need him.
I got 3 other quotes from different companies and some got very uncomfortable using pushy sales tactics like used car salespeople, where is S&R is the compete opposite of this and I got the feeling that he is genuinely there to help.
Kevin’s his crew did an amazing installation that even the city inspector was impressed with the quality of their work.
Thank you S&R, I’m happy I made the right choice with this company and I can see why so many recommend them to me as they do a lot of work in the surrounding areas and had them mentioned to me more than once during my evaluation process.
I feel much safer during hurricane season and it’s unbelievable how much quieter it is in my unit is now especially with all the concrete restoration happening at my building. My A/C isn’t running constantly anymore and most importantly I got an insurance discount for having impact windows!
A win win all around and if you want or need impact windows, do yourself a favor and call this company you won’t be disappointed..

After reseraching several Impact door and window companies, we decided to work with S&R based on some recomendations and a fair price quote. This was a fairly large residential job and a nice chunk of change, so we did our homework. We replaced all the windows plus 2 sliding doors in our 2 condos in Ft. Lauderdale. Sal, the owner, came out to do measurements and immediately made an excellent impression with honest feedback and expectations for the job. We flew in from NJ to have the work done in February, however the manufacturer delayed in shipping the windows, so we re-scheduled the install.
Sal stored the windows for us during the COVID shutdown and the install was set for June. I drove down and was present for the entire job. Sal's team was extremely professional, courteous and top-notch. There was some difficult removal of old hurricane shutters that had to be done, and they did it with a minimum of dirt and debris. Throughout the install, I had questions and comments, which Sal promptly responded to.. the communication was beyond excellent.
What truly set this company apart and earned my highest recommendation however was how they handled a particular issue that came up. There was a miscommunication with my condo association with regard to the rules for outside kitchen window colors. They all had to be Grey. The windows arrived White on both sides. Regular production time would be 3 more weeks... but Sal knew that I had to be in my car and driving back to NJ in the next 3 days. He took complete responsibility for the issue, painted the windows in-house, had them installed in plenty of time for me to depart as planned. Throughout the entire process S&R went the extra mile to make me and my wife happy. Can't write enough great things about this company, the ownership and their employees.

I have to say that this was the greatest experience I have had with a renovation from start to finish. I also live in a condo and these guys were fabulous. They were neat, efficient and did a terrific job installing my new hurricane windows. I cant say enough about how happy I am with there work and how smooth everything went. Its a relief and I recommend them to everyone who who is looking for quality people and quality work!

S&R Windows and Doors is an amazing company. From start to finish they were on top of the entire process. I did not make it easy for them, as my condo is under a concrete restoration project. Even though my windows and doors came in on schedule, I had to wait until the building gave us to approval to install. Normally I would have all the windows and doors installed at once, however the concrete restoration was done in sections.
S&R was gracious and installed the bedroom windows first. Months later when the balcony was ready, they were right there to install the sliders. The entire team was outstanding and worked closely with me. If that was enough, they also fix the locks on a window they did not install. The lock that was needed had been discontinued, they went above and beyond to find a similar part that would work. I cannot thank them enough!!
I will definitely do business with this company again.

How often can you say that you genuinely miss speaking to and working with a contractor? I can say that is definitely the case for me. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish from my first phone calls with Cristina and Ann Marie, to my onsite visit and consultation with Gary, to the installation with Rocky, Daniel & team, and finally to Gary, Cristina and Ann Marie ensuring every finishing touch was perfect. We could not be happier. Everything was done to specification and beyond (my building has strict rules about materials and aesthetics). My building dates to 1962 and presented a couple challenges when the old windows and doors were removed. S&R took the time to analyze and modify the installation to ensure the integrity, quality and visual appeal of the job. I was really impressed and am incredibly grateful.

A project to replace every window and door in your home can be overwhelming and stressful. It's HUGE but S&R made it easy and stress free. It was obvious that the team really appreciated our business and us as customers. The defining factor for selecting S&R when investigating vendors for our project was that customer appreciation. Other vendors may have been qualified to do the work but it was clear that we were just another job, and just one of many. S&R has a business model and culture that showed that they cared about us as customers. It was a really easy decision and one that I am so glad we made.
