We had a great experience with Polk County Window and Door when we hired them to replace our 20+ year old single pane windows with impact windows. Their pricing was very competitive with other quotes we got and they were extremely professional and helpful in the sales process. We had tons of questions and they were very responsive and patient. They even brought a sample window to us and let us keep it overnight so we could check the opacity before ordering the window for a bathroom.

We had a few questions come up after the sale related to some other renovations we were doing at the time and we had no trouble getting answers and help in a very timely manner. To me, that was the sign of a company with good customer service - they don't just take your money and disappear once you sign the contract.

Installation was smooth and they brought out extra help to create a better transition between the sliding glass door tracks and our patio (due to the thickness of the glass, the track was higher and wider than the original, creating an awkward step down to the patio). Installation crews are courteous and friendly and did a great job cleaning up after install was done, which we appreciated. Installation was completed on time as scheduled.

We had such a great experience that we hired them again to replace our front door and patio door. Highly recommend!

From the initial visit with the owner of the company to the completed project, we could not be happier with our choice of window providers. Every single person entered our home with care and respect. Our installation team was delightful. We then had an issue with a window latch which was fixed by William very promptly. Not a big deal at all.
1) This company shows up when they say they will.
2) A sheriff friend told us that the senior division at the PCSO has not had a single complaint about Polk County Window and Door. Impressive.
3) Our utility bills during the winter cold snap confirmed that new windows do make a difference.
4) On price? They may not be the cheapest, but we definitely got what we paid for. Reputation and follow-up service matter!

I got quotes from three local companies. Sales guy from Polk County Window and Door brought a sample window and showed me the features (Simonton).
Price was reasonable compared to the other two companies, plus I had the specifications which only one other of the three provided.
They said it would be about 4 months lead time, which it was, but no more. They kept me informed of when they would be ready to install, and double confirmed the date with me.
Crew showed up on time and were very efficient and hardworking. Crew leader, Terrance, kept up a very fast pace but with conscientiousness and plenty of levity! Everyone worked hard and had a great attitude. They even alerted me to the tiniest issue.
These windows seem to be keeping out the afternoon sun, even without any blinds or curtains.
I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again if/when I get another house needing windows!
BTW, this house was built in 1890 and it was neglected or occupied by squatters for a long time! So all work done here requires problem solvers with a good attitude! Very happy with Polk County Windows and Doors!

Excellent and professional window and door installers! They replaced all of my 20 year old leaky, inefficient windows and door in one day. I can now open the blinds without worrying about the house overheating so much. The glass on the inside stays cool while the sun scorches the outer panel! Highly recommend!
