BE AWARE OF THEIR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES!!!
Called them because they were offering their svc thru Costco for new Water filter systems.
I have and older Ecowater unit. I asked them to come and see if it can be repair because it was given an Error 001 msg and if can't be repaired I would like an estimate for a new one.
They charged $249 for svc call. The tech first he said he probably will need to replace the switch, motor and the board. He ended changing the board and I spent another $495 for the board. Few days after it we went 30 days overseas and at my return the unit was giving the same error msg.
Called the office informing the unit wasn't working and they sent the tech the following day. He checked the unit and look at his truck and replaced the motor and the switch without giving any estimate. He spent again only 20 mins.
Start talking with the office and is telling me I owed another $500 including another $249 service call. I told him he supposed to give the customer an estimate before installing the parts. He said he will connect me with the office, where I was told if I want the tech will uninstall the parts, but he never mentioned they will still be charging another svc call.
I agree because I didn't want to keep spending big bucks in an old unit.
After the tech left I received a notice from my visa that a charge of $249 was done without me been present.

The day after posting my reviews and disputing the charge with VISA for the $249 second service call, their office contacted me saying they will refund it. Also, they offer to send an email with a proper quote to replace the needed extra parts.

PETER'S WATER TREATMENT DID POORLY ON A RE-INSTALLATION OF THEIR SYSTEM WHEN WE CHANGED OUR COUNTER TOPS. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED IT IMMEDIATELY AND MADE IT RIGHT. ALTHOUGH WE LOST A. Marquise Lewis was the tech who came and replaced my pressure switch. He was friendly, experienced and explained everything. It’s my first time using Peters and it won’t be my last. Hopefully no more sprinkler problems but they will be my first call. Thanks Tony!
