On 12/31/25 we requested a garbage disposal repair or replacement because we had used this company since they acted as a plumbing subcontractor on a major remodel we did 9 years ago. They came out but couldn’t complete the repair because an “extender” was needed to keep a bolt from pressing on the sink bottom. They didn’t have the part on their vehicle or in stock. They left the sink and dishwasher disconnected so we had to wash dishes in the bathtub. On 1/2 we learned it would be 10 days for the part to arrive. On 1/7, at our request, they reconnected the sink and dishwasher (which should have been done on 12/31). On 1/13/26 they completed the install and charged $871.65. We paid but requested an invoice and a call from a supervisor. Both were promised but neither an invoice nor a call was forthcoming despite 2 follow up requests. The disposal retails for $114.44 on Amazon so we paid over $750 for labor and an extender. We view the price as horribly excessive and the follow up customer service as nonexistent. New owners acquired the business in the recent past. I guess that explains the now shoddy, overpriced service.

We have had an issue with regulating the temperature of the tap water in the upstairs bathroom, (ongoing issue for a couple of years).
