I paid Brooks Jones $4,700 on August 19, 2025 for two iron breaker systems to be installed at two separate homes. Neither system was ever installed, despite months of follow-ups.
I then requested a refund. He refused, mentioning that a previous contractor owed him money, which was unrelated to my situation. Brooks then claimed he would drop off the iron breaker systems (without install installation ) and scheduled a time to meet my contractor— he never showed up.
Following that missed appointment, he repeatedly made excuses and eventually stated that he could no longer locate the iron breaker systems. At that point, I again requested a refund since the services were never provided and the equipment was never delivered. Once again, he refused.
He later claimed the company had been sold and attempted to relieve himself of all responsibility, despite having personally taken my payment months earlier, and informed me that he would be blocking my text messages moving forward.
It has now been five months since I made payment, and I have lost $4,700 with no equipment, no installation, and no refund. Due to his refusal to resolve this, I am filing complaints with the DBPR and BBB, and pursuing legal action.
This review is a warning: do not do business with Brooks Jones unless you are prepared to risk paying in full and receiving nothing in return.

Customer Reviews
See all on Google ↗Brooks Jones and his crew have been doing an outstanding job on our HOA’s irrigation system. They are extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and thorough in everything they do. They take the time to explain what needs to be done, address issues quickly, and ensure the system is running at its best. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and our community has really benefited from their expertise and dedication.
I’m beyond disappointed with Jones Wells and I will
never trust them again.
I called them because my irrigation system wasn’t pumping enough water to the sprinklers after being off for a couple of months. Their team rolls in, and their diagnosis? A collapsed well. They pushed me to dig a new one. I asked the young tech if he was 100% sure, and he doubled down, saying it’s “common in this community.” That’s not a diagnosis—that’s a lazy guess and a very expensive project!
A couple of days later, I see the sprinklers in the back blasting water with perfect pressure. So much for their “collapsed well” nonsense. Since another zone was still busted, I called them back to have them take look and point out that water was being pumped without issues.
This time, the owner shows up, an apologies for the wrong diagnosis, and “fixes” another zone by replacing a bad valve. He charges me $200 for two valves at $100 each. A few days later, the “fixed” zone craps out again.
I call again for them to check the problem, but they ghost me—ignoring my voicemail and dodging my multiple calls. Out of frustration, I use my wife’s phone, and surprise, the owner picks up. I tell him the zone he fixed is broken again, and he brushes me off with “I’ll come by next week.” Spoiler: he never showed, and neither did his team.
Then it gets worse. I check the system myself and find out they only replaced one valve, not two. These guys overcharged me for a valve they didn’t replace, and still never fixed my system. Not to mention that they wanted to replace all sprinklers heads in 2 zones and charge over $1,200 for the work. Only part of one zone needed sprinkler replacing to solve the problem.
Be warned. I’d stay far away from them and if you do work with them— make sure to validate their work, get a second opinion, and confirm what they did on your system.
I am attaching evidence in the pictures. Notice that only a single valve has a new appearance (far right, first picture)
Issue: well water pump kept shutting on and off. For reference my husband had installed a brand new pump. Pump brand was Everbilt would not recommend to anyone.
Contacted Jones Wells and he was at my
Home the next day - highly appreciated the quick response.
He diagnosed the issue as a bad pump & we took the pump back to Home Depot got a new one NOT the same brand and not the same store. We went to an irrigation store which is what we should have done from the beginning but hey man you live and you learn.
There was some confusion on the company installing a new gauge without asking for consent first. Which threw both my husband and I off. For this reason I took off 1 star. I would recommend in the future discussing prices , costs etc. prior to going ahead and doing any work. Times are hard and not everyone just has money laying around for diagnostic fees. From my understanding this company charges even just to look at the potential issue.
However, I will say that I would use this company again and recommend them highly. They were flexible with payment , prompt & courteous.
Thank you for confirming the issue in the end it did save us a pretty penny!
They can on time and repaired a broken water pipe in my yeard. The well pipe was old and an odd size, but they were able to cut out the damaged threads and replace the pipe. They also replaced my old water pump that had stopped working. The job was completed quickly and I am very happy with the service.
