The entire experience with Flintstones was excellent. We were going to have our original cabinets refinished but when we got to Flintstones to order countertops we found that for just a few dollars more we could replace our existing cabinets with brand new quality cabinets and the cost of the counter top was very reasonable too. We could not be happier with the quality of workmanship the crew put into our new kitchen.
We purchased our quartzite from Marie for our master bath remodel. She was so helpful and patient, and we enjoyed working with her very much! They measured quickly, and came to install the stone quickly. However, that’s where everything went wrong. We had some concerns during installation when they used what appeared to be mastic (I’m not 100% sure) to adhere the stone in the shower, as this is not appropriate for wet environments. Also, we saw that the amount of material they used was entirely in adequate for the size of the stone. The caulking under the sink had a bunch of gaps in it which would have caused a leak if we did not go back and fix it the next day. We waited the appropriate amount of time per the stone installer’s instructions to begin tiling the shower. As soon as we stepped on the curb, the entire thing moved and was in no way attached to the shower. We pulled them off to see just how little material was actually supposed to attach the stone to the shower. We reinstalled the stones ourselves with the appropriate type and amount of material. Again, the stones are beautiful and they have excellent customer service but the installation was not done properly and after they had already been in our house two times we ended up fixing it all ourselves.
Kitchen granite countertops project: Superb customer service. Very professional from the consultation, measurements to the project installation date. They didn’t have the granite material at first, but was able to accommodate my preference by ordering it from their sister company. I was so excited! They also use an appointment reminder system and we’re very flexible with me in terms of scheduling the project which I was very thankful for especially during the pandemic. I recommend their services and will be using them again!
My experience with Flintstones was outstanding. I found them to be responsive, offer the product I was looking for and to top it all off, they delivered their services quickly. No running around, no guessing, a true 1-stop shop. The crews that did the install were efficient, professional and cleaned up after themselves as well. I would surely use Flintstones again and recommend to any family/friends.
I cannot say enough about the quality of the materials and the work. Beautiful selection of stone and it was so easy to work with Rodrigo. We purchased our home and he replaced our kitchen countertops, installed a full granite backsplash, built in a sink, cabinet and long countertop in our laundry room and replaced all of the sinks and countertops in our 4 bathrooms. I highly recommend them! My son plans to use them to replace the countertops for his new home. Here are several “before / after” pics. The black granite is “before”.
