Esperanza's Garden Center

We have used Esperanza's Garden Center at least 4 times in the last 10 years. Normally she is really good and reliable. But not any more. She gave us a quote and then a contract for major landscaping. She was about 90% done with the work and then asked for more money. Saying the rock that we ordered was much more expensive. However we were with her when the rock was ordered on site. We negotiated more and agreed to pay her more money. Unfortunately we paid her in full. Yep, you guessed it. She never came back or returned our calls. She did not use to be this way. She and her business are going down hill. I should not even give her one star. But I blame some of this on ourselves for paying her in full. Beware!

Be careful with your estimate! Her measurement for estimate was 25% too high and when it was brought to her attention she wouldn't adjust her price accordingly. So basically it was just about making a minimum amount, not pricing appropriately. Disappointing.
