Manager matches the reviews. Does not show any emphasis of interest to help the customer. Very angry demeanor and unwilling to help.

I purchased a water heater less than 5 days ago thinking my home water heater was broken. When the electrician came by, he noticed my breaker had tripped. Our original heater started working perfectly fine after flipping the breaker.

I went to the store to return unopened water heater and he said all sales are final. He said the sign is usually posted at the register but he couldn’t show me any sign that says sales are final. Then he said the cashier Ayleen should have told me that sales are final. The only thing Ayleen said was that they do not offer warranty and the warranty is with titan directly. I asked about a return and she said I can return as long as it is not a been opened and remains uninstalled. Additionally, the receipts says “return on resealable condition, no return over 30 daycut, mix”. Called corporate and opened a case, 514138. Will also be opening a claim with Amex.

Recently, I purchased a Big Green Egg and the entire experience was outstanding. From the very beginning, the owner, managers, and staff were incredibly engaging, knowledgeable, and helpful. When a part was missing from the box, the owner personally delivered it to my home, a level of service you rarely see today. Truly exceptional customer care. I strongly recommend them.

I rarely leave reviews, but the experience I had at this location the past couple weeks was beyond unacceptable. The manager is the worst representation of what this store should stand for—rude, unhelpful, and completely indifferent to customer service, he is not a helpful at all (why is Ace: the helpful place then). It’s honestly disturbing how someone with such a careless and arrogant attitude is in a leadership role. He doesn’t solve customer question he leaves it to somebody else, the manager’s wears a hat and does not look to the person when saying something, his behavior made it downright revolting. It felt like we were bothering him by simply asking for basic assistance and the way he tells the staff is the customer job to ask for help, and the staff kindly reminded him he needs to offer help because he works in customer service, If this is how he runs a store, it reflects poorly on the entire brand and the ace team, Absolutely disgraceful person.

Terrible customer service – except for Carmen

I had a truly disappointing experience at this Ace store in Miami. Upon asking one of the employees — an older man with a very unpleasant attitude — if he spoke Spanish, his response was unnecessarily rude, especially considering the store was completely empty. Aren’t they supposed to be there to help?

Then came another employee, Roberto, who, clearly annoyed, threw down the broom he was using and attended to us in a disrespectful, arrogant manner. His tone and body language made it feel like we were bothering him just by asking for assistance.

It’s disheartening to see employees act like this in a store that should be doing its best to keep customers coming in.

The only positive note was Carmen, the cashier — polite, kind, and genuinely apologetic for the behavior of her colleagues. Her professionalism made the situation more bearable, and I truly appreciate her effort.

A store without customers should be a wake-up call. Sadly, with employees like these, it’s not surprising.
