Exceptional Service—Honest, Trustworthy, and Quick!

David Pruitt Well & Pump Co. saved our family trip! A couple of days before we were set to leave for Texas, our sprinkler system well pump quit working. I called and left a message on Sunday, and David personally called back on Monday and promised to work us into his schedule before our Thursday departure.

He came out on Wednesday and did incredible work. He replaced the original pump (which he estimated was from the 1970s!) and, crucially, advised us to move the entire pump system from inside our laundry room to a safer location outside. He completed this entire job himself in one visit.

I felt immediately that David was honest and trustworthy. We had received a proactive estimate from another company a few months ago, and David’s final bill for replacing the pump and relocating the entire setup was significantly lower than that previous quote.

The quality of work was top-notch, and he has a very friendly disposition. We were incredibly relieved knowing our yard and plants were getting watered while we were out of town. I would absolutely recommend David Pruitt Well & Pump Co. to anyone needing well and pump work!

I can’t say enough great things about David! I had previously been told that I needed a brand new well for my sprinkler system, which would have been a major expense. David came to my house today, took the time to carefully inspect everything, and discovered that I did not need a new well after all. He was knowledgeable, honest, and incredibly thorough — truly phenomenal. It’s so refreshing to meet someone who is genuine, skilled and trustworthy. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for expert, reliable service! He gave me 5 star service !

David is very knowledgeable and was honest and fair in pricing for the work that was done. His crew were respectful and honest and went beyond what we asked for. They also dug a few to make sure there was more than enough water to cover our not huge, but not small property. Obviously I’d recommend them. They get it done and it didn’t look easy even in fair weather.

These guys are amazing!!!! Nothing beats the experience of a 4th generation well drilling company. Had David come out and take a look at our property and well when we noticed the water pressure had severely diminished post Helene. He quickly identified the problem and drilled us a new well and put in a filtration system that has us getting super clean water and nearly 50 gallons per minute. Haven't seen the sprinklers perform to this degree or cover our property anywhere near as much as they are now. He also left a very clean job site, provided, amazing communication every step of the way, was priced very reasonably, and then went above and beyond by wiring our sprinkler system such that we avoided failure or burnout of our pump in the case of a power outage or shortage (he did this without even asking and at no extra cost to simply ensure we were satisfied and didn't find ourselves with unexpected issues down the road). Couldn't recommend them more highly! If you need a well for sprinklers or frankly anything this would be the team I use!

So I've never done this before. But I felt so compelled to leave a second review for this company that I've gone back and edited my first. Everything posted prior stands true but I have to say this company continues to supersede all expectations. The other week I noticed my sprinklers stopped sprinkling and my pump wasn't getting water. I assumed it was an issue with the plumbing for the pump given the height to avoid damage from flooding, nothing David Pruitt and company did. But I called David to see if he'd be willing to come and take a look at it to see if he could figure out what was wrong.. sure enough he got me on the schedule fast and personally came by to take a look at things. After spending many hours and troubleshooting it, he realized one of the external filters had been clogged and prevented water from moving through it and caused a pump meltdown. He proceeded to fix repair the plumbing which had some cracks in it as well as get the pump running again and then trouleshoot my sprinkler system. All in all the service was nothing less than exceptional and what struck me as over the top for customer service was that David called and texted me every step of the way from letting me know when he would be at my house, and to let me know he was running a little late, to let me know when he was in the car and his ETA and once again when he arrived. He even felt bad about charging me anything for fixing the issue but I encouraged him to do so as it was not his work that failed but rather prior plumbing that caused the issues and frankly sunlight letting algae grow in my external filter. And while I don't know David on a personal level, the way in which he does business and operates has me wishing I did. Total trust, exceptional customer service, all I can say is if you need anything done on your property that it involves a well, this is the guy and the company to go with.
