Custom Pest Solutions

Purchased a home that the previous owner did not use pest control services. There were a few of the usuals such as roaches and palmettos but a MAJOR infestation of sugar ants in almost every room. Chris from Custom Pest Solutions came out and spent quite a bit of time both inside and out, explained what he found and took care of. No more roaches or palmettos and did put a dent in the ant infestation but still they were a problem despite the baiting and all. The 2nd treatment took care of the remainder of those pesky little things except for the family room. Called Custom and Christopher came right out. He found the attic was a problem area and even found some nesting under my carpet pad! Problem solved. I’ve had interactions with 3 individuals at Custom. Each leaving me with the feeling “I like this company”. After 3 visits from Chris, I’ve gotten to know him a bit. Very personable, intelligent, seems to love his job which I find rather comical, and has only good things to say about the company and the treatment of their employees.
I use companies providing other services that are professional, dependable, polite, and do a good job but I put Custom Pest Solutions in a class of their own. They are such a delight to work with.

Lonnie was an amazing technician. He explained everything slowly and clearly, then walked through the house with us twice — first to look at the overall premises, and then again to focus on the areas where we were experiencing rodent issues.

His personality and professionalism really stood out. He answered all of my questions patiently, even though I know I repeated myself several times. He was calm, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to work with.

The technician, Lonnie Smith, was knowledgeable and thorough during the exterior inspection, and the follow-up from management provided clear guidance on preventative care and best practices moving forward. The home was noted to be in good condition, and the recommendations around exterior maintenance and vegetation clearance were practical and helpful.

I also want to thank Justin for taking the time to personally follow up and ensure all questions were answered clearly. It’s refreshing to work with a company that values professionalism and proactive communication.

After doing my due diligence in my search for a highly professional, detail-oriented (!) pest inspection expert, to assist with our new home buying inspection, I landed on Custom Pest Solutions.

The first person I spoke with was quite knowledgable, and understood my desire for someone who was so particular and detailed, that there would be no room for oversights. She said she was going to schedule Lonnie, who is a supervisor.

Lonnie showed up on time, and did exactly what was promised - an extremely thorough, detailed job, including an outbuilding we'd added. The report was so fast, and also as thorough, leaving us with the peace of mind that there was nearly nothing of note, but some not unexpected minor rodent activity outside of the living space, but easily rectified, if we chose to do so.

I wouldn't hesitate to contact Custom Pest Solutions again for a home inspection. The only reason I didn't contract them for our ongoing pest control treatments was because we've had a great guy from another company (who isn't specifically licensed to do buyer's pest inspections) who we will be bringing with us to this new home.
