I recently had a new ComfortMaker heat pump and air handler installed by Coast Air & Heat, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Throughout the installation, I had several technical and procedural questions, and I appreciated how openly and thoroughly the team answered each one. I like to observe work in progress, and they never made me feel like I was in the way—instead, they were patient, informative, and genuinely transparent. One part of the job that really stood out was the challenging task of pulling roughly 50 feet of copper lines from the air handler to the heat pump. Watching the team handle that with such skill and coordination gave me a lot of confidence in the quality of their workmanship. The installers were also extremely respectful of my home. They were careful with my property, and each team member made a point to ask before using the restroom—small gestures that say a lot about their professionalism. My first routine maintenance visit will be complimentary, but based on this experience, I fully trust Coast Air & Heat to handle all future maintenance on my new system. One of the best AC repair services I've had. They were knowledgeable, friendly and best of all, they didn't try to sell me anything additional like other companies. I wish I knew about this company before calling Mac5. Before I could reach Coast Air & Heat, I called Mac5 and they were able to come to the house pretty quickly. The technician inspected everything and pointed out all kinds of stuff that could break down in the future and tried to sell me on a UV light and went as far as to say I needed a whole new system at $16K down the road. He did say I would need a new motor but that he couldn't get the part for 4 days because it was "special order". Coast Air & Heat was able to get the motor from Merritt Island and had it installed the next day. We only had to go one night without AC. Thank you Coast Air & Heat for being a company that still cares about customers and just give us good quality work at a fair price. The price quoted by Mac5 for a motor was more than 2x what Coast Air & Heat charged us. Thank you Chuck and Garrett for all your help.
Coast Air and Heat installed a mini split unit for us and did a great job They arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner. The office was very professional and the guys who came to install were great.
I also had them out to make an adjustment on a mini split we had installed last year and our technician was excellent. There was no charge because the unit was under warranty and the work was guaranteed for a year after installation. I definitely recommend them.
