Superior products and services! In the last 6 months, I have had hurricane windows installed in my home. ArmorTech Windows and Doors provided highly skilled technicians—excellent expertise with patience to explain the work to be done, window protocols, follow up, and ultimately absolute customer satisfaction. Many thanks to K. Wood, my salesman, Liam, Mike, Dakota, Miguel, and Michele in the Sarasota Office. Your whole team has made me feel safer now in my home, and that is priceless.

TLDR: AVOID. Tried to pass off shoddy work as finished and then made us manage the repairs.

We hired this company for a major window replacement project ($86,000+) and deeply regret it. What should have been a straightforward job turned into more than a year of delays, poor workmanship, and unprofessional behavior.

We anticipate that David will respond to this saying that his company addressed all of the issues and ultimately fixed them. That is true; however, the remediation would not have occurred without us identifying the issues ourselves, coordinating the work schedule, managing the repairs, and auditing their work.
None of those tasks should fall to the customer. Below are more specific details.

Quality & Delays:
The project was declared “finished” when 88 issues remained across 27 windows including windows that would not open, scratched glass, missing trim, paint spills, and dirty residue. (See photos for evidence of the issues + the project management work we had to do to rectify the problems.) Even one of their own employees admitted, “I can’t believe they left it like this.” It ultimately took 8 additional months of repeated rework to get the project to a passable state, far beyond the promised 20-22 week timeline.

Responsiveness & Professionalism:
Instead of managing their own project, we had to become the project managers, documenting every issue, creating spreadsheets, scheduling repairs, and following up constantly.
Along the way, employees openly complained in our home about “interference” when we expected windows that actually opened. Our cleaning staff also reported workers mocking the request to wear protective booties, even after damage forced us to delay other home projects.

Integrity & Payment:
We specifically chose this company in part because they promised we could pay the entire project by credit card with no fee. Midway through, they changed their policy and refused to honor that agreement, forcing a large final payment by check.
When we raised these concerns directly with management, including the owner, we were dismissed. No accountability, no apology, no adjustment.

Bottom line: this company charged luxury-level prices but delivered subpar work, months of stress, and zero willingness to take responsibility. If you value quality, professionalism, or honesty, look elsewhere.

Outstanding experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a very friendly and super nice receptionist, followed by truly professional and knowledgeable advice from the sales specialist in the showroom. We felt confident and well guided at every step. The entire process, including permits handled by the company was smooth, efficient, and completely stress-free. We felt genuinely well taken care of. The installation team (Adrian, Erik, and Adrian) was truly exceptional: professional, courteous, and highly skilled. The windows look amazing, and they left our home spotless, even cleaner than before they arrived. Old windows were removed, and everything was handled with great care. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Armortech Windows & Doors, Inc. in Sarasota, Florida to anyone considering new windows or doors. Thank you to the entire team for an excellent job!

This is our third and final time we have used Armortech to gradually replace all the windows in our home. We replaced them with hurricane-proof sliders and large pane windows, including some that are 20' high. We have continued to use them over the years because of their skill, knowledge, and professionalism. Their work is very thorough and they pay close attention to every detail!

They approached our job as if it were their own and, once again, did excellent work! This last time we had Adrian, Erik, Mike, John, Adrian, Allen, and AJC on our job, each of whom is a pleasure to work with!! Even the company owner Rick came out himself to make sure everything was done right.

We highly recommend them for your window needs! Our only regret is that they have now replaced all of our windows in our home and we no longer have any need for their services;-)!

Absolutely wonderful experience with the company from beginning to end. We had our back windows and one door replaced. My installers were, Adrian, Mike, Adrian and Erik. They were prompt, courteous, and cooperative. They cleaned up at the end of each day, it was a 4 day job, and left me with no concerns. After the inspection someone came out to do the touch ups and we couldn't be happier.
