Aquias Water Treatment Systems

When we bought our home, the previous owners shared they had a water softener system installed by Aquias. We’ve lived in the home 5 years and we continue to contact Aquias for our maintenance and servicing needs. While I’ve not personally met George, we have talked on the phone numerous times and he is always very patient in answering any questions. Will is our service tech and is a great representative for Aquias - always taking time to answer any questions, as well as seeking solutions should we pose any concerns. He goes above and beyond! I highly recommend Aquias.

Called to schedule an appointment to get a filter change. After we agree to the date, I ask about the arrival time. The rep tells me they can't give arrival times because they are so busy. I asked if they could at least give me like a 4 hour window period. The rep says No we don't do that. I was shocked. In this day and age of mobile phones they refused to communicate with their customers in advance for everyone's convenience. I cancelled. Then I watched YouTube videos and learned how to change my the filter myself. Thanks Aquias!

System worked good at first. Shortly after its 1 year filter change which was performed by company representative Will Marriott, the system started to malfunction. George Huerte, the owner said he would resolve it yet stopped returning phone calls when it came time to actually schedule an appointment for him to arrive.

Made an appointment with George H from Aquias to come by our property to get a price on a new install and he never showed up, and never called. Odd. I think these reviews are rigged.

We purchased a new home that has water supplied by a well. It has high iron content as well as even higher sulfur content. Since that was a non-starter for us, the search was on. Our realtor suggested a local water softener company. However, after reading their reviews while in their parking lot, we left in search of "Aquias Water Systems" which had 5 Star, warm, pleasant, no pressure reviews! We decided to visit the office where we met George and Will. We spoke, at length, to George about our needs and George took his time and explained what system would probably be best for our needs. There was no high pressure sales tactics like so many other companies that have high overhead costs with showrooms and commissioned sales associates. George keeps his overhead as low as possible and is just a down to earth, honest owner! He came out to the house, tested the water and showed us what kind of softener system would best serve our needs! We agreed on a very reasonable cost and both George and Will came out to install the unit. George and Will pride themselves on making their installation look neat and clean! They even made sure to install the PVC piping plumb and level with no messy joints and covered the wiring! We opted to install our unit inside the garage so as to protect it from damaging UV rays and the weather. We have glass shower doors and after I shower they dry without spots. My skin feels silky after a shower and I can reduce the amount of chemicals I use to wash clothes, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend Aquias Water Systems if one is looking for reasonable pricing, efficient, soft water for their whole house! We have had George and Will back out twice since they installed the unit as we kept having issues with the discharge water not percolating into our soil base. Both times George and Will have spent the better part of the day in the rain, digging new trench in search of a soil base that would accept the discharge water without pooling in the yard. NO extra charge for their time! It goes without saying; one won’t find a better company in the greater Polk County area to handle your water softener needs! Give them a call if you’re looking for a reputable and established, no pressure, honest, water softener company!
