What happens

A straightforward three-part process

1

Tell us what you notice

A short, mobile-friendly questionnaire helps separate city-water, well-water and equipment-service needs.

2

We check coverage

Requests in the launch area are evaluated for one participating provider with matching ZIP coverage and capacity.

3

A professional visits

If coverage is available, the provider coordinates the visit, performs basic on-site checks and explains possible next steps.

Coverage

Where the free water test is available

The launch area is Southwest Florida: Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, North Port, Englewood, Rotonda West, Placida, Boca Grande and Wellen Park. Coverage is activated market by market as participating providers join, so availability is confirmed at the ZIP check — it is not guaranteed in advance.

If no participating provider currently covers your ZIP, the ZIP check tells you immediately: your request is kept as a waitlist request, it is not sent to anyone, and you can browse local water-treatment companies directly instead.

Know before the visit

What a basic in-home water test can—and cannot—tell you

What might be checked?

Basic on-site methods commonly screen conditions such as hardness, chlorine, pH, iron, sulfur odor or dissolved solids. The exact checks depend on the provider and water source; ask what each result means.

Is this a safety certification?

No. An in-home screening is not a certified laboratory analysis and should not be used to declare water safe or unsafe. Health or contaminant concerns may require a state-certified laboratory or the local utility.

Why is the visit free?

Participating providers offer the basic visit as a way to evaluate water needs and may recommend equipment, installation or service. You are not required to purchase anything.

Who receives my information?

I'm Moving to Florida stores the request and may share it with no more than one participating provider matched to your ZIP. Ordinary directory browsing is not turned into a lead.
