We had a set of positive experiences with Yarborough followed by a set of fairly disasterous experiences caused by one electrician. At significant expense we have since hired new electricians to fix these issues. In short - electrician installed a completely chunky obtrusive non low profile unnecessary solution in an interior environment that is becoming a sunporch. Photo below. Worse - same electrician refused numerous requests and calls to the company to replace an OLD, CLEARLY WORN OUT breaker in a dock panel - a breaker that is failing on a DAILY BASIS. The electrician insisting on his version of being right and telling everyone around him - oh you people are just overloading the circuit. Also there is doubled and maybe tripled up GFCI protection on the circuit also causing issues that was not there before this electrician started on this part of the project. Photo below. Third - Yarborough techs installed one remote control successfully - we ordered a second one to which the same electrician causing these issues told us - well its late in the day - I'll just give you the remote in a bag from Intermatic when you come to the office and you can program it yourself - bag o fun photo attached. (Strike three...) Further this electrician was observed berating his young apprentice who we liked and worked very hard - yelling things to him like "Never send a boy to do a man's job!" in front of me, my wife and other contractors on the job. We found this an unacceptable way to treat people. This electrician did some positive things on our property - but was overshadowed by these issues which is costing us a significant amount of time and money to repair. We felt strongly the company had an obligation to CORRECT these issues in short order - instead they took a couple hundred dollars off the bill, offered to send a different crew for future service and said this is the best we can do. This is the best I can do offering a fair recommendation of Yarborough Electric. We paid them something pushing $5K for a number of projects with thousands more $$$ of projects to come. No more.

Could not be happier with their service. I made an appointment with them. All office staff was excellent. I told them what I needed and said they would call with a date and time. I got a call the next day saying they had a crew had just finished a job and were available that afternoon. Please come on.
Two man crew arrived within an hour and started to work. I could not believe all was done in a few hours. They recommend some excellent changes which really made overall improvements.
No time was wasted and cleanup was well done. Two great employees.
I will continue to use Yarbrough for my electrical needs.

We had 1 new ceiling fan installed and 2 replaced as well as added several outlets. From the beginning the gentlemen were punctual, professional, and polite. They were very attentive to my needs and checking with me throughout the project to ensure they were meeting my expectations. They were very clean ensuring when they left for a night prior to the project completion, everything was clean. I cannot say enough positive about the guys who did our work. The only thing that disappointed me was that something we had discussed with the person who came in and took information and created proposal, did not get passed on to the hands on workers. Once we called the office and pointed it out, it was addressed; however, my only disappointment was that it happened. All said and done, I would hire Yarbrough again.

Employee became aggressive with me in the parking lot. Owner didn't show adequate concern even justified the actions. Unsafe environment family operation where the "boss" is run over by the family. No accountability. In response to your response. You did not understand the part of our conversation where I mentioned I was contemplating using your company on a project? Guess justifying bad behavior is right down your ally. Again another sign the employees are steamrolling the management and there is no accountability. By the way there was no car in front of me at the light you claim I was bypassing. There's no need to argue with you anymore because my project money and any future projects will go to a company that knows how to handle themselves better than jumping in from of cars of possible clients. Your blind sighted view of your employees is on you. I have choices.

Staff was nice. Bill is insanely ridiculous for what was done. One guy worked, another stood around looking confused the whole time. Tripped my breaker several times by not connecting ground wires. Maybe here an hour. Billed me like they were the best lawyers in Tampa Bay defending a murder suspect.
