HIGHLY RECOMMEND Wild West Shutters. They were efficient and speedy. They provided an estimate within two days and shutters were installed in about two weeks. Eddy (the owner) even FOLLOWED UP about a week after installation. That kind of service is RARE!! Great company, great service, very reliable, very rea$onable.

I had three type of hurricane shutters recently installed on my home in Cape Coral. These shutters were to replace the metal panels I had. I wanted shutters I could easily open and close by myself.
Two months after installation hurricane Milton arrived. A couple of the Bahama shutter locking device did not line up with the bolt. Therefore, not all were bolted down with all the bolts they installed. 1 1/2 hours into the storm one accordion shutter opened. Luckily Milton winds for Cape Coral were half of what hurricane IANs were and lasted less than half the time of IAN. The next day I could not get two of my (5) new electric roll down shutters hand cranked up. I called Wild West a couple of days after the storm. The installation guys came out within a couple days to adjust. I asked them to tell the owner/manager that the lock pin on my accordion shutter’s measures 3/8" and the whole they fit in is 1/2". I looked online and longer lock pins are available. I said to tell them I want longer lock pins for my 5 accordion shutters otherwise I will not feel safe during the next hurricane.
A few days later I called their office number and ask what was the status of locks with longer pins for my accordion shutter? The lady said she will past my message on to the office. Today the installers showed up to tell me the owner said they could not get or have locks with longer pins.
So the owner who states on their website that they personally go to all installations never came to my house. They also sent the installer to tell me instead of calling me himself. Very poor customer service!
Called Wild West and got a quick appointment for annual maintenance. Was delighted Orlando was the maintenance person sent. Orlando is very professional and thorough.
Wild West just installed accordion shutters on our home. A neighbor recommended them to us. Mike came promptly for the initial estimate. It was fair and comparable to others. We chose Wild West due to their reputation in our community and the fact that it is a local, family run operation. Installation was fast and perfect. Their installers (Shaun and Gus) were neat and efficient. They even worked through a rain storm to get the job done. We highly encourage you to call Mike and Wild West Shutters. We are extremely happy with them from start to finish.
We are so happy we found this company! After Ian hit our Lanai shutters were badly damaged. They returned our call immediately, came out a couple days after Ian to assess the damage and were able to open the shutters for us. They gave us a fair quote, ordered the parts and once received they made arrangements to come install. Sean was a pleasant, quality technician. We highly recommend Wild West Shutters!
