I had the pleasure of working with Van Kirk Pools on the new pool and spa for the Pompano Beach Marriott renovation, a massive 72,000-gallon build that turned out absolutely beautiful. From day one, their entire team was incredible to work with.

Robert, Carlos, Roger, and Jason were always professional, organized, and on top of communication. They coordinated seamlessly with our construction team and other trades to deliver a stunning, high-quality final product that completely transformed the resort’s amenity space.

As part of the General Contractor team, I couldn’t have asked for a better group to collaborate with. Van Kirk Pools is truly a top-tier company, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a team that cares about the end result.

We hired Van Kirk to build our pool, spa, deck, and fence. They did a fantastic job on all of it. The timing went almost exactly as they said it would - maybe a bit ahead of schedule. Once work started it continued at a good pace throughout. Our PM, Golan, was really great - always there to let me know what was happening and making sure things went well and were done correctly and to plan. If I had a question or concern, he would address it immediately and make sure we were happy. If we were to do it all again, we would go with Van Kirk again!

Building a brand-new pool is no small feat—it’s a complex process with many layers and challenges. Thankfully, I had an incredible project manager, Golan, who made the entire experience seamless. From start to finish, Golan ensured every step of the construction process was handled flawlessly. He was always responsive, kept me updated at every stage (and trust me, there are a lot of stages), and truly went above and beyond to bring my dream pool to life. The cherry on top? Golan delivered my pool two weeks ahead of schedule! I couldn’t have asked for better service or a smoother experience.Golan is the reason VanKirk Pools gets a 5 star rating!!

We used Van Kirk to remodel our pool, install and expand deck, add outdoor kitchen, add fire pit, and modify our hot tub. It was great to work with Jim Philips our designer, Adrian Acosta was the Project Manager, and I greatly appreciated the opportunity I had to speak directly with Tim Van Kirk. The outcome they achieved for us was beyond our imagination. The entire team was communicative throughout the process. They have an excellent team of professionals that are truly craftsman and paid attention to detail. Highly recommend them.

They’re not bad at what they do, it’s easy to dig a hole in the ground for a pool and running all the irrigation and we can’t blame them for the way the county drags their ass in approving permits but they still have to take responsibility for putting the finishing touches on any project and that is where they fail.
Also, their is a Mr. Van Kirk and he will never come to the phone because he thinks he is bigger than us and also thinks he has such a great staff that they can handle everything and the truth of the matter is that they cannot. If you choose them as your choice of a finished backyard and beautiful pool make sure that the final stage is as important as every other part of the project. Stay on top of your project manager, make sure he takes care of every concern that you have. If you are installing pavers or stone around your patio it is set in sand and it is going to move, do not accept the first installation. Give your personal inspection and do not accept until it is thoroughly to your approval. Accessories such as refrigerators and wine coolers should be set on a stable base so when you open the doors they do not shift and wobble. We never thought of these things and we will be okay but I am sharing this all of you so you all make sure you get the best installation that you can possibly get. In closing, give them consideration, they are not cheap, they will do a good job but be vigilant, stay on them, don’t get lazy and you may be a satisfied customer.
