So here’s my experience… the service is phenomenal. Last fall, I brought my HP laptop in with a broken hinge - a well known and documented design flaw by HP.
Ubreakifix fixed that issue, no problem. I picked it up, machine booted up. What I did not notice was there was no sound from the speakers. I went home and started installing updates and noticed the lack of sound on restarts - spidey senses start tingling that maybe something didn’t get connected when they did the repair.
I called them back and they told me the speakers were fine when I picked it up… since I didn’t notice it in the shop, I couldn’t argue, and ended up having to pay for new speakers.
So - I’m an unhappy customer because something happened to my laptop speakers while they had it and they didn’t even offer to split the repair cost or cover the labor for the install.
My advice - yes, the service is pretty good, they are very nice and professional… but make sure everything on your device works before you walk out the door.
We turned in an item for screen replacement, but experienced a couple of unfortunate curveballs. Our item was an older model, and while trying to repair it, some other components were affected, which, according to Google, does happen. The following steps and conversations with other staff had us worried that we might just be out an expensive repair bill. The store owner Sean, along with Justin and Zamani (sp?) came to the rescue and surprised the heck out of us by somehow making everything better than just "all right" again. It wasn't easy, but they worked hard, promised a positive resolution and somehow made it happen even better than we imagined. You just don't see or hear about the level of commitment we experienced here very often. Our sincere thanks to the entire team.
Keelan did a great job and was very professional. He was as nice as could be and very smart about the phone and the repair that I needed. I will definitely be back here and Keelan has won me and my wife over. He is awesome and a huge asset to the store. Thank you all very much and have a wonderful holiday.
