The Original Matress Factory

Very happy with our new custom-cut mattress! We needed better cushions for the table/bed in our RV (the original cushions were too hard to sleep on when it was set up as a bed). We had already bought 2 mattresses from OMF and are very happy with their quality and comfort. Decided to replace the RV cushions with mattress cushions instead. This required the mattress to be cut/formed into 4 separate pieces, each measuring 17.5" long x 24" wide. It was cut from the Orthos 6" foam mattress. The pieces fit perfectly as a bed or dinette seats and are super comfy! The sales person (Shannon) was very helpful and the mattress cushions were ready in 4 days.

Overall, I had an amazing experience at this location.
Adam was my sales rep, and he's so knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
He shared so much information regarding their mattress technology, and the many pitfalls related to the sleep/mattress industry.

So many great things I can say about this place! The mattress are crafted almost in store, the employee who helped us, Justin, informed us about all the steps they take to improve the quality of their products, safe to say he was amazing! Love my mattress!!

Edit/*On a side note, I could not find the mattress we purchased for the same price online as online prices seem to be less expensive...

My partner, I, and our toddler went to this original mattress factory about a week ago. We were met by Corbin who is very personable and told us about the mattress details versus other brands. We tried about 4 mattresses and ended up choosing a Queen orthopedic natural plush latex mattress, $2399 before tax. We liked that it is double sided as are all their mattresses, and it was the most comfortable for us. We were also able to finance for 12 month interest free financing. The in store process did not feel rushed and we felt good walking out after the purchase.

Our previous mattress had gained a hole due to pregnancy and it was time to let it go. We also were able to get our old mattress removed for $10 which was nice.

Delivery was super easy and it cost $40 to be delivered as a drop off into home 6ft, plus another $40 if you wanted to have the team open and put the mattress on the bedframe. Three young men came in, one of whom was training and they were all very diligent and pleasant.

We also opted for mattress only as we have a wooden frame bed and the size/height of the bed is perfect for our needs. After having slept on the mattress for two days so far, it is really comfortable. I didn't like the buttons so we got a topper, but you can't feel them when laying down. It is also noted that our mattress is very flammable, so if you smoke, it may not be for you.

They do offer a 12 year warranty to repair or replace depending on specific circumstances, and a 365 day exchange policy where you can pay 25% for another mattress if you don't enjoy the mattress you recieve.

All in all, a good experience and we are sleeping more comfortable and less achy as a whole.

While appreciateive of your note above, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the call I recieved from your store rep. The resolution offered is disappointing but not surproing based on my engagements so far with representatives of the Original Mattress Company. I received a call from from someone at the store offering to bring in the mattress and "open it up" to show me the contents - This seemingly cheesy stunt does nothing to address the fact that for the past month, I've had a $1600 Original Mattress bed sitting in my house that is literally sitting uncomfortable, unused and unusable - no one has been able to lay on this brand new bed for more than a few hours without backpain - forget about sleep.

The bed delivered is not the bed I tested in the store, and I alerted your representatives within three days, yet your customer service model seems to be that whatever bed is pulled off the truck you own it - and of course if the customer is not satisfied we're happy to sell you a different mattress for more money.

The offer of opening up my unused mattress to show me the contents, does nothing to solve my problem but is consistent with the "used car salesman" approach your company seems to have with regards to customer service.

- After my initial complaint the store manager provided me with a sheet of foam to "attach" to the top of my brand new bed (imagine buying a new Mercedes car and as you go to drive off the lot the salesman hand you a roll of duct tape and tells you that "by the way, you'll need this to keep the doors closed)

- The manager then trying to explain to me (with a straight face) that the reason the bed that was delivered feels so uncomfortably different is that I was wearing jeans when I tested the mattress in the store, while I'm presumably wearing pajamas when sleeping

- And now the offer of cutting open the mattress

Obviously none of these actions are intended to resolve my dissatisfaction at spending $1600 for a bed that I will never be able to use, and instead seem intended only to get my to throw more money at your company in the hopes that a better mattress is delivered next time (seems very bait and "switchish" to me).

These days every other matress manufacturer and retailer offer superior customer service to the Original Matress Co. Based on my very negative exerience with both your product and customer service I strongly recommend anyone looking for a quality mattress and looking to avoid the "used car salesman" experience spend your money elsewhere.
