We contracted with Sunshine Restoration for an extensive mold remediation and home remodeling and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor. Having worked with poor and challenging contractors in the past, we got inspections and quotes from four different companies and Hutson and the Sunshine team were clearly the best choice. They spent extensive time looking at the issues and work that needed to be done, as well as listening to us, specifically asking us, “what are your goals for this work.” We asked for a detailed quote, a realistic estimate of timing and clear communication. They provided all of that and the work they did was top quality. After their mold remediation successfully passed inspection, they rebuilt several walls, replaced popcorn ceilings with knockdown in many different rooms, repainted 2/3 of the house and replaced flooring and baseboards in 2/3 of the house. They kept us updated on progress frequently, showed how work was progressing to ensure we were happy with it, and finished ahead of the time frame they gave us. We were so happy with their work we immediately contracted with them again for mold remediation and remodeling at a second house and were again extremely satisfied with the work. The Sunshine Restoration team is great at their jobs, honest, low pressure, and incredibly easy to work with.
I have used Sunshine Restoration on multiple occasions. As a superintendent for a large commercial construction firm there is always some challenges we deal with on our projects. Sunshine has found a permanent home with our firm. Hudson is great to work with as well. They are extremely knowledgeable and extremely timely, including the emergencies at 3:00 am. If you are working with any other company, you are missing out on an opportunity to work with the best team…. Sunshine Restoration. I do not even think to call anyone else!!
