Stars & Stripes Car Wash

I’ve been coming to this self-service car wash for close to 10 years, and the reason I keep coming back is because I prefer self-service over automatic washes that scratch paint. That said, this place has seriously gone downhill.
The brushes are completely worn out and should have been replaced years ago. The soap hoses are brittle, tangled, and constantly kink where the brush meets the hose. When you’re on a timer, that’s incredibly frustrating—you have to stop, untangle it, and go slow just to get soap to come out.
On top of that, the entire place is filthy. The walls are covered in grime, there’s mold on the walls and floor, and nothing looks maintained. It’s hard to tell which bays or machines are working because everything looks neglected. A car wash should have at least some basic cleanliness and upkeep, and this one doesn’t.
This place could be much busier, but I’m guessing people avoid it because of how dirty and run-down it looks. New brushes, new hoses, and regular cleaning would go a long way. Right now it feels like money is being collected without reinvesting into the business.
I like the concept and I want to keep coming here—but if I find another clean self-service or touchless wash nearby, I’ll probably switch.

Decent car self-service car wash. Don’t come with high expectations. The water pressure is good but the soap doesn’t come out of the pressure washer. Use the triple foam (different dispenser). They have a membership option via an app if you wash often, but I haven’t used it yet.

Worker on premise is useless I told him the soap wasn't coming out the hose ended up wasting a couple minutes by letting it run on soap setting, said he couldn't do anything about until Monday when the repair guy comes in and he told me to call some number when I asked him for reimbursement on the minute I lost, just needed four quarters but no big deal. Genius said to use the foam brush or triple foam shine as soap. Barely made it rinsing my car off thanks to the lost time. Been coming off and on here for over 15 years this place never improved in terms of quality. Start offering/adding free air blowers or towels. Offer more than one unlimited option like 15 mins then I'll sign up for the monthly plan your 8 minutes unlimited plan is more like forcing you to move fast with just a soap and rinse half scrub job and not even a triple foam shine more like a cash grab plan from the owner without the proper results your expecting in quality. Also take better care of the equipment and put signs stating what's out of order so I don't waste my money the next time. If a customer has to report what's not working then your obviously not doing your job on keeping up with the quality checks and maintenance. Also upgrade the bill machines in the wash stalls to take $10 bills instead of having to put $10 in quarters. This place is backwards compared to the other local car washes with better monthly plans that includes free vacuum, towels, air blower, window washer, air freshener and way better service.

Only place we found able to wash Work van. A very young gentleman asked to help in exchange for a soda. Ended up buying him a meal

Don't come here unless you have a lot of time to waste. Out of all the bays, there are usually five or six people washing my bucket, hand drying, playing on their phone, or under their hood. These people just use the bays to do whatever they want, and the owner encourages it, so he doesn't have to pay for all the soap that they don't use.
