On Oct 5 2025 my tenant’s air conditioner was not working (blowing out warm air). I called Speedy and set appointment for 1-4 Pm on same day. The tech Matt came and diagnosed the problem as a broken condenser (outdoor fan). He left but did not come back. On Tuesday Oct 6 at about 3 pm Matt called and said he could install the next morning Wed Oct 7. I called the tenant and she said she was expecting him to come that day Tuesday Oct 6 as she had cancelled all her work appointments and was waiting for him. She had not slept all night because of the heat and air conditioning not working.. I called Speedy and told them they needed to install today. They immediately said they will send tech out and he was there shortly thereafter. I believe the work was completed around 7 pm or earlier that evening. I wished they had come to do the repair more promptly instead of me having to call and request service so late in the afternoon and evening. I’m glad they were able to send a tech out and with speed (in their name). My tenant was happy again as she texted a snowman emoji.
I have been using Speedy for a few years now and hope service continues at a high quality in the future. Please don’t let your customers have to call multiple times as you know in Florida it is hot and humid and even one day without air conditioning is unbearable.

Do not use this company, I literally lost $7,600 by using them. The company is shady with the owner never available to speak to the customer. Joey is arrogant, rude, curses at the customers and the ownership is non existent.
Had a new AC system installed July 2022 with a 10 year parts and 10 year labor warranty. System leaked water from the initial installation so much the owner had to come out and fix it at 1130PM. This was the first and last time I ever saw or spoke with the owner.
Since then the unit has malfunctioned to the point where Speedy has come to my home over 20 times to "fix it." So far the blower motor, Thermal expansion valve, Evaporator coil, The insulation for the blower motor, transformers that were corroded due to the water damage of the unit not being installed correctly and various other things such as a coolant leak that was never even found just more coolant was added without ever doing leak detection. Each time speedy charged a 99 dollar diagnostic fee but could never find the problem.
On 09/25/2024 after a ceiling leak developed in the room that is in back of the air handler Joey came to my house to replace what he thought was a cracked drain pan and reinsulate the air handler. He refused to accept that the AC was the reason for the ceiling leaking and stated it was the duct work that was no where near where the leak was and had no water from it. Joey then stated he was done packed up his tools and left while cursing at me while walking away.
Speedy AC has failed to honor the warranty, left me with a broken Air conditioner while its 90 degrees out with a young child in the house. Reported to FTC for breach of contract and litigation is pending.
I've posted pictures of the unit to see how poor the quality of the installation was. The company also has all its trucks registered to Pennsylvania which constitutes insurance fraud.

Complaint Regarding Speedy Air Conditioning
We purchased our Goodman air conditioner with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor. Since installation, we have faithfully paid Speedy Air Conditioning for their annual maintenance package.
Recently, our unit stopped working. When I called Speedy, they charged me $70 for a diagnostic and told me we needed two coils but could not give me an estimated time of arrival. Meanwhile, Florida was under a heat advisory, and we were left without AC.
A friend of ours, who also works in this field, contacted Goodman directly on our behalf. He even added Freon (at no charge) so that we could have temporary cooling. Speedy had refused to do this, claiming it would be a waste. Thanks to our friend, we had AC for a while.
Goodman later informed our friend that the coils are no longer being manufactured and that the entire unit would be replaced at no cost under warranty. The problem is, Goodman requires the replacement to be handled by Speedy. Unfortunately, Speedy has been completely uncooperative. They refused to pick up the replacement unit (which Goodman confirmed is already available in our city) and insisted they would not honor any arrangements made by anyone else.
The woman I spoke with at Speedy was defensive and extremely rude. As senior citizens who have paid for years of maintenance coverage and warranty protection, we do not deserve this kind of treatment. Right now, we are at the mercy of Speedy while our Freon runs out in the middle of 90-degree Florida heat.
This experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. After many years of loyalty, I would never recommend Speedy Air Conditioning to anyone.
