I’ve been coming to this car wash for the past year, and they consistently do an amazing job. They never miss a detail—every visit my car looks perfect! The staff and the owner are incredibly kind, professional, and always welcoming, which makes the experience even better. In my opinion, this is hands down the best car wash service in the area. Highly recommend!
The guys at Route 66 have been cleaning and occasionally waxing my 20 year old car for the last 15 years. Thanks to them it looks almost new. A visit to Route 66 is always a great experience. The staff are polite, professional and dedicated to doing the best job.

I have been coming to this place for years, and always had a good experience until today. After seeing some of the other reviews here, I understand why. There is apparently a new owner who is terrible at doing business. When I went to pay and told the person at the register the price I was told by the person who was washing my car, he ran my card for that price but a minute later he accosted me and called me a liar saying I lied to him about the price I was quoted. He told me he was the owner.
I was extremely taken aback by the aggressiveness which didn’t feel warranted. I said there must be some misunderstanding but no problem, I’d pay the difference. This should’ve been the end of the situation. I went back inside to run my card again but the owner was already editing the transaction and forged my signature on the machine. I pointed out that it was a shady way to do business and he followed me out to keep calling me a liar and insisted I owed him an apology for lying.
The level of aggression and hostility from the owner was disturbing, and I thought he might actually physically lash out. He stood by my open car door and kept arguing and calling me a liar until I insisted I had to go because he kept arguing and calling me a liar. As I drove off I saw him taking a photo of my car and license place. Needless to say, there’s no way I will be returning to this place.
I just expected more detail for the price. Wax was still left on big portions of my vehicle, door jams were still dirty, but the most disappointing thing is nothing was applied to the plastic trim on the vehicle which it has a lot of so I had to do it myself. You can see the faded plastic after their detailing and then after I applied my product.
