Good afternoon,

I phoned Rolling Sheild at 11:55 am. A man picked up and answered the phone. After eleven (11) minutes on hold, I hung up and phoned back. I had explained to the man that I had previously spoken with Raul who was my salesman. He said he was going to put in a service ticket for me since one of my shades is not cranking up. I was following up on this. When I called back, a girl answered the phone - I say girl because she was so immature and unprofessional. She literally hung up on me as I was trying to explain the reason for my call and why didn’t the man who was helping me get back to me???? All I heard was attitude spewing out of this girl’s voice. She needs to get another job. She has zero concept as to what customer service is or when to hold her tongue. She overtalked me and I couldn’t get a word in.

I called again; Juan answered the phone and refused to give me her name. He claims he did not know which girl it was, yet I could hear them both speaking to one another. Juan was laughing at my dilemma which I am not impressed with either. Really? Get a life! I work in high end construction. If I, or anyone, that works with me held that attitude, we would automatically be terminated. However, I did receive this email to file a complaint.

Get rid of her. She doesn’t deserve her job! Remember a bad word goes a long way.

Please let me now what day my service will be scheduled and reply so that I know you received this complaint.

My initial meeting with the company's sales rep went well, but things quickly went downhill from there. Without any warning, the company called me to say they were at my house to measure for the screens. I was caught off guard and directed them to go around back. My husband met with the installer and later told me that the guy had a really bad attitude.

A few weeks later, the installer called to say he was on his way to install the screens. I was taken aback(because we did not have an appointment) and insisted that I wanted my husband or I to be home during the installation. The installer brushed off my concerns, saying he wasn't as picky about the quality of work as I was and he doesn't understand why I care if someone is home. This was a major red flag for me – an installer should take pride in their work and be picky about how it looks.

I voiced my concerns to the sales rep again about the installer's attitude. A new installer was sent out, this time with an appointment. However, the job was done poorly, as evidenced by many of the pictures below. He was in such a rush to finish and when I explained my concerns about the work that was done he told me he wouldn't get paid until the job was completed so I should call the office when he left to discuss with them. I contacted the company to express my dissatisfaction, and a new installation manager was sent out to address the issues.

Despite the efforts of the new installation manager, the process has been an ongoing struggle. I am so sick and tired of having to call and request something be fixed. It's frustrating to have to continually call and complain, especially when my expectations are not unreasonable. The installation of screens should not be this difficult, and it's unfortunate that I didn't check the company's reviews before making a purchase. $6000+ is an exorbitant amount of money to have it look like I installed it myself. Scratches on the metal mechanisms, defective screens, bunching, screens coming out of the tracks more than once, sagging, metal shards were blown(by a blower) all over my pool deck and into my pool instead of being swept up. There's so many more irritatingly disappointing details to this process that should be mentioned but I feel like the images speak for themselves.
Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I did a lot of on-line looking before making my decision to purchase our retractable screens with Rolling Shield. But when i walked into the factory and showroom i knew they were the place to purchase our screens. It is manufactured on site and backed by the people who do the manufacturing. I placed my order on February 2 2022 and the screens were installed within 3 weeks by February 18th. In todays environment to have the quality and delivery and pricing as promised is very unusual, and RollingShield had it all. Erika was great and walked us thru the choices. The installers were prompt professional and did a perfect job. The entire experience was much better than one has grown to expect from vendors in South Florida. Add me to the happy customer list. I have a 10 year old shutters from Rolling Shield and I needed a new remote. Diana was a great help in finding one.

Extremely disappointing experience. The customer service is unacceptable—rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I was outright called a liar despite being a loyal customer since 2017 and having purchased two awnings. The way customers are treated is disgraceful. I will never return and strongly advise others to stay away.
