Pelican Car Wash

Do not waste your time or your money. I paid for the luxury car wash and it was far from that. There was water drops all over my car which they were suppose to dry, streaky windows because they reuse the same microfiber cloth for every vehicle which left lint all over, they didn’t even clean the cup holders! When I spoke to the manager he said he would fix it and took it to the back 15 minutes later and supposedly it was all set all he did was clean the cup holders. I did not expect much since they are not professional auto detailers but after spending $60 I at least expected the interior wiped down with clean cloths, the windows cleaned correctly and the outside dry, they promised much more per their list. I will not be back what a disappointment, not sure how they are still in business.

This place is horrible! I just got the "Ultimate Wash" ($44 after tax) as I wanted the inside and trunk vacuumed and cleaned up. They did a terrible job and didn't even bother opening the trunk! What a complete ripoff! I'll never come back and if you're looking for a car wash I recommend you go somewhere else. Also the inside of my car smells like old moldy wet rags now. Check out the other reviews about this place. Sounds like they used to be good, now they're complete trash!

**Update- I brought it back and they did redo my car and made it right but I wasn't planning on spending 3 hours (2 times there) on Saturday at a car wash. Like I said they did make it right but I won't be coming back.

Pelican Car Wash has been in Palm Harbor for 30 years and continues to provide the best full service car wash in our area! Please consider supporting the local businesses verses all the pop up chains. Pelican does an awesome job! Detailed oriented and always feels good getting into a sparkling “new” car!

Last Wednesday, I was leaving Pelican Car Wash in Palm Harbor and when I went to use the bathroom, they turned off the water. When, I asked the manager what he could do he gave me a paper towel. He did not care that he inconvenienced the customer. They have a car wash offer to give water for free every time you do a car wash and you get it unlimited. The machine broke and they never fixed it. Not only does this manager lie about caring about the customer. He is cheap and has no common courtesy. I mean seriously, turning off water before the customer leaves the car wash. I am not sure if this manager is just not paying attention or is he just that cheap and not caring.

Does anyone actually like this place or is just the convenience of it? I recently got a vehicle “cleaned” there. The pictures speak for themselves. I had pollen and bird feces still on my vehicle, they “vacuumed” as I got the luxury package yet I found dirt in one of my cup holders still. and my windows had streaks and there was even fallen tree debris in by my wipers still. This level of incompetence does not deserve business as I’m. They broke a clip that the window shade hangs from on my car. At this point, I’m not even sure what I paid for. I could have broken my car for free.
