Don't ever deal with momentum. They have their agents upon the sales process say that you'll get free un-install, and then re-install with storage amongst telling you that you'll receive an energy rebate to which you can apply to the amortization payment or keep it. Unfortunately that is a tax credit and not anything back in check form. It's their scamming way to get a sale, leaving you with a financing payment that is adjusted higher a few years later. As for the free removal and re install for things like a new roof, that is not true either unless you get that agreement in writing.

Plenty of consumers talking about the same issues. This company is lying and allowing their sales teams to pull the same lies. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with MOMENTUM SOLAR.

In the process of obtaining a petition of other consumers and filing with an attorney for the above issues.

Also for any victim, I'd say file a complaint with your state Attorney General.

This company is so pushy and has been harassing my work line for months on end nonstop. I’ve asked where I can send a cease and desist letter or for them to take our number off the list to no avail so maybe this will get some attention. I will ask again, where can I send a cease and desist letter or how can I get you people to stop calling me?!??! It’s a dead lead. No go. Zero. Will not pay or participate in solar on my house. Stop calling the dead leads!!! I even tried telling you I already had solar and guess what the salesperson said? No you don’t I drove past your house. WTH?!? Is that not stalking at this point? I am not getting solar people stop calling.

It is impossible to speak to anyone in person. You must send an email and wait for a contact back in 48 hours.
I have been trying to get a technician out to my home for two months. Now my system is completely inoperable with no power on my panel. And after three years of ownership I am getting bills from my electric company.
And still no response from Momentum. Stay away.

Edit:
As you can see by the response from Momentum Solar they just admitted to everything in my review. Instead of helping me or giving me a phone number of someone to speak to they give me yet another email address to write to and then wait 24-48 hours for someone to reply. And it course that reply will be via email.

**UPDATE**

Momentum Solar leadership reached out to me like they said they would, and were kind enough to work on a solution. I am very happy with their response to my situation and their willingness to stand behind their workmanship. Their customer service is stellar. Thank you!

We had our panels installed roughly 5 years ago which puts us conveniently outside of their warranty coverage. Within the first year we experienced several leaks in our roof which they did come and fix, but the issues still persist. The last repairman indicated an issue with the product they used to seal the holes leading him to use a different product to help permanently correct the issue. Sadly, we are now experiencing further degradation of the faulty sealant in other areas which is now affecting the drywall. I called their support line to report the issue, but they claimed we were outside of coverage and I will need to hire someone to come and repair their subpar installation. In other words, I would be very cautious about using Momentum as your solar panel provider/installer. Not only did they never return my call to let us know that they had no intention of sending someone, but they do not stand behind or admit they used a faulty sealant to begin with. I hate to say we will be reaching out to our family attorney to hopefully reach a mutually acceptable solution.

We used Momentum Solar for our installation about 5 years ago. One thing is to hire a company to install solar panels and another thing is for that company to be around years later to actually do warranty work in a timely manner. I did a reroof on my home 5 years after the solar panel installation. They came in, took everything out and when roof was done they put everything back on better than how it was. I appreciated that and is the reason why after 5 years I'm writing this review. I have also experience two low production panels and one micro-inverter replacement and both where replaced under warranty no questions asked. Thank you.
