Mel did such a great job the first time, I had him recover two more chairs and two ottomans, then gave him my eight dining chairs to do. Everything turned out beautifully and I cannot say enough great things about the quality of work and fantastic service!!

Fantastic work!! I cannot express how lucky I was to pick Mel to re-upholster my chairs and ottoman. The workmanship was excellent, the time taken to complete was as promised (even a few days early) and they kept me up to date on progress. The service was excellent,pickup and delivery were on schedule. Great experience - recommend them for any job!!

Mr. Mel is the nicest gentleman you will ever meet. Quality craftsman at upholstery. Looks like from factory. May take some time, but well worth the wait and price. Don't let the look of the place concern you. The quality of the work is exceptional.

Beware! We just picked up our unfinished…never started chair and cushion. Started this project in September 2021. After giving a 50% deposit and multiple phones in which we were promised that he would be working on our project next and that it would be completed within a week. That NEVER happened as well it appears our fabric was never even ordered.
We were very disappointed and would never consider or recommend.

DO NOT PAY FOR YOUR OWN MATERIALS AND DO NOT GIVE HIM A DEPOSIT FOR HIS WORK.

Mel will tell you that the job will get done and then you will have to wait another 3 to 5 months to get it done. The other reviews are spot on. You will most likely not get your stuff done on time.

He will make empty promises which sound good at first and then he won’t answer the phone when you start calling to ask why he said it would be done 4 months ago and it still isn’t done. Then he says “I am busy with other projects.”

He also asks you to buy your own materials for him. DO NOT BUY YOUR OWN MATERIALS. If you pay for all of his upfront costs then he has no reason to finish your project because he has no incentive to; you’ve already paid for all of his costs.

Go somewhere else.

My 4 week order turned into over 8 weeks. After 4 weeks, they had not even started it. I was told "we will take care of you" because of the inconvenience. Thinking I had my whole order ready after 7 weeks, only the white chair was finished. I was told the green fabric had been back ordered however no one bothered to tell me this. When it was finally ready, I went to pick it up only to find damaged workmanship. When it was finally ready for pick up, the balance was the same as BEFORE the delays. My customer service discount was $24 after 4 weeks late, backordered fabric with no communication, and faulty workmanship. Seams are crooked, zippers are crooked, cushions are lumpy and I will NEVER refer this company to anyone! My whole new living room of custom furniture wasn't much more than this upholstery job!
