Price gouging at its finest. They know you have to take time off from work for a technician to come to the house . I have used this company for years and while the job is finished, I cannot overlook how badly I was ripped off. I had two Lights And two outlets that were not working. Each light Bulb replacement is $221, it was nearly half that price several years ago. That doesn’t even include the price of the bulb, which I purchased and supplied myself.. On top of that, to diagnose the Outlet problem they charge $550.. That doesn’t even include actually repairing the outlet! Then I was told I needed to pay another $285 for the outlet. I was so shocked I couldn’t believe it. I paid $1100 in diagnosis fees before the actual issue was even addressed . The company walked out with nearly $1800 of my money. And even when I supply the next light fixture for the job which is still not finished, I will have to pay another labor cost of $167. As we all know, some of us have jobs, and commit commitments that make it difficult to take time off from work and have a technician come to the house. They always say they show me the estimate beforehand, but telling me you’re ripping me off and then ripping me off does not make it OK.

Recardo is the best! I had an issue with a broken outlet this morning and Luminous Electric was able to come out within two hours. Recardo fixed everything in about 15 minutes. This is the second time he’s serviced my home, and I really appreciate that they sent the same tech. He’s always so kind, courteous, and incredibly helpful. His work is great and I’d 100% recommend their team to anyone!

Andrew and Jacob are the best.
My wife and I love throwing parties and decorating for Halloween. When our collection exceeded what our house could support we called Luminous. We were so lucky to get Andrew to be our lead electrician. He listened to what we needed and had great suggestions which not only fixed our immediate problems, but also allows us expand.
When our disconnect date came, Andrew and Jacob arrived before FPL and made quick work of our 200 Amp service upgrade. They replaced the main breaker box (which was an old 100 amp panel) and added an additional panel outside with extra circuts. We also asked them to run a line to our backyard for our parties. Halfway through installation it started to rain but they pushed through and the end result was beautiful. It is comforting to know that the electrical in our older house is powerful and up to code; plus it adds to the property value.
Would definitely work with Andrew again in the future. He and Jacob were friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. 100% Recommend!

I have used Luminous on three separate occasions, and while all the jobs have been completed to a high standard, Jacob from Luminous Electric stood out among his peers. He did an excellent job installing Ring cameras and additional outlets in my new home. He must be one of the company's top performers.
