LUMINAIRE LAB

My husband and I have known and loved Luminaire for 40 years! Crazy huh... we started young with the love & appreciation of Modern Design. We recently moved from DC to MIA and needed help with new decor pieces for our new apartment! Lorenna was and has continued to be amazing!!! Along the way we communicated what we needed or are looking for... example: dining room table and chairs, coffee table, side table, console for TV, Art desk, etc. Each time, Lorenna would say "I'm on it" and soon we would hear back from her with a few options based on what we communicated. Lorenna also has an incredible design eye and maybe equally important she understands her clients, listens to them (on top of the details) and then fully delivers! We have felt very taken care of over the years at Luminaire and especially recently with Lorenna during a move (stressful) time. Lorenna and the store Manager, Jasmin are so delightful to work with and in such a beautiful showroom setting -- 🩵

Went for a visit last Tuesday. We were approached by a sales person asking how she could help. We said we needed some accessories for our apartment and she said: "everything on the first floor was 50% off. We looked around and confirmed pricing. We decided to go to lunch an discuss the items we found on both floors before retuning a couple hours later. As I waited in the car, my wife texted me because she was upset. Apparently, as she was checking out with the three items( one not on sale) and she had to re-question pricing. Instead of owning her( sales person) mistake.....she tried to slip the items past my wife at FULL price. Only when my wife questioned her, did she admit her mistake about the sale price( only furniture items were on sale not accessories). Really... you're going to lie and sneak over what amounts to several hundred ( not thousands) of dollars????? Why not just own it when we returned. Management was NOT helpful in coming to a reasonable resolution both with my wife and with me the following day. Sour taste for us for sure and would caution anyone visiting the store as "BUYER BE WHERE."

No commitment with delivery time. No pro active follow up or contact even when they know ETA is later than what they have initially informed. Collect 50% of downpayment and let you in the dark. Once asked I got the simple answer “just couple weeks dalayed... “ . Third time that same happened to me. They should pro active monitor their suppliers and be more emphatic with their customers’ project timeline.
