What a fantastic nursery! We enjoyed the entire experience of plant hunting to grow our yard and loved the zoo! So much variety in both sides of the business.

Trinity, Max, and Zachary were a dream team. We were impressed with their passion. We learned so much from them and we will be back!

We visited this nursery last week and let me just say, what a hidden gem! It’s the passionate staff that breathes life into this place. Jamie in the exhibits was great with the kids and knew so much about the animals. And Brady in the nursery was a welcome wealth of knowledge and passion. They both made this such a memorable experience for me and my family. We can’t wait to visit again!

Coming from a native milkweed collector, THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I went crazy with all the natives I don’t have and bought $200 worth of plants!!! A couple included pink and orange coneflower, false nettle, thistle, florida paintbrush, Savannah blazing star, frost weed, Georgia aster, rattle snake master… lots of goodies! If you want to make a butterfly garden/waystation GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!! They even have a cute museum with a whole cabinet of different pinned butterfly families, snakes, lizards and frogs… they have 2 enclosures right now with zebra longwings and giant swallowtails! The people working there know their natives and it was fun talking with people who are in my field of interest. They were kind enough to tell me they were bringing in a new load and that’s how I got my rattle snake master, Savannah blazing star, and Spanish daisy.

A group of friends got together here this past weekend to visit, for the first time, this native nursery and zoo. What a pleasant surprise!

We brought tea and scones, as it was grandparents day, and set them up in their fair- sized gallery/event room.

We enjoyed visiting the insect (and other critters) zoo. Every exhibit was carefully and beautifully presented, educational and exciting! We learned about native and invasive species, and observed them in clean and authentic habitats. We wandered the artfully crafted gardens showcasing Florida native species and samples of the different habitats found here. There is a butterfly "nursery" as well, and we saw chrysalis of a number of species on display as they matured. We enjoyed scones and tea in the gallery, while admiring the artwork. The gift shop was full of the work of local artisans ready to be taken home. Of course there was a plethora of native plants for purchase, just as carefully labeled with background information on each species. We loved the real little Red wagons you can take around as you shop.

The highlight of the visit was the release of the butterflies that had emerged today, done by the owner and designer of the property, Anita. Anita is a seasoned expert in the local flora and fauna, and is a terrific educator and promoter of taking care of our natural environment. She explained how to grow a butterfly garden at home, the flowers that attract them, other pollinators that visit gardens, the types of butterflies we see in our area, and the story of the gardens. It was Sunday, so there were maybe 10-20 butterflies set free today. I imagine that on Saturday there would be many, many more.

I recommend visiting this place for shopping, relaxing, learning, appreciating, and celebrating.

I also recommend the event location for group events and birthdays. They even have theme parties to choose from where they supply decorations and activities!

I. Love. This. Place! #SupportLocalBusiness
Brady is my new favorite garden consultant - so knowledgeable not just about "plants" in general, but soil ecology and the specific cultivars/species they carry - care and preferred conditions, etc. He intuited my needs just from our idle conversation about my location and issues.
At this lovely little place, you can be sure you'll get the right natives and they clearly mark the exotics they have.
Thanks again, Brady!
