Really great experience with the entire team. The Seller had hired Legacy Title Group and I was the Buyer in the transaction. There were so many last minute changes by my lender and Legacy was on top of it. They were very quick to respond to my questions. Their web portal provided updates every step of the way which was incredibly convenient and useful. I’d certainly reach out to them if I’m selling my home.
Closing agent was not well informed on FIRPTA Tax Withholding procedures , also not well informed on how to fill out documents #: 8288, 8288-A, 8288-B to be submitted to the IRS. The company’s system was unable to wire the funds to my bank, after 3 days of failed attempts, they issued a check and was sent overnight by FedX ! Which I did receive the very next day before 12pm, but signed Tuesday and received funds on Friday. I incurred a loss (although minimal), due to market fluctuations on the investment! Foreign sellers in Florida beware! You are on your own!!
